G2 Motorsports Custom 126” Engine

G Squared Motorsports was initially formed in 2003 as a collaboration between Bryce and Smith to field an S&S powered V-Twin NHRA drag bike. As an example of their work, they combined the craftsmanship of S&S Cycle and their own innovation to produce something powerful and fast. Dyno runs have the 126 making over 150 rear wheel horsepower & it delivers the most torque of any engine in class – over 145 ft. lbs. These 4-3/8″ bore engines have similar general specifications to the original S&S “Tribute” 145 engines, but the new 126 is a dual cam design combined with big valve B2 heads for ultimate performance. For the rider who tours from sunup to sundown, the 126 delivers the massive horsepower you crave, in an engine that bolts directly into most stock chassis from 1999 and up, and is available with fuel injection or an S&S carburetor. The 126 is offered exclusively through G2 Motorsports and its dealer network and engines are in stock. Starting at $8,395 unassembled, No induction system.

For that type one shouldconsider a R&R engine, Manufactured in New Hampshire.
All billet construction ,best of best internals, Pretty, impressive performance and a real stump puller, 190 horspower and up to 155 inches.

I’d put my two G2 motors up against any R&R motor anytime- Why not buy from the guys that make the NHRA motors- be it V-Twin or Suzy -They have been making them for years and winning in the ultimate venue- THE DRAG STRIP! Where the best of the best compete- Can’t ever remember hearing about the R&R motors in that scene? S&S motor is simply the best- then take it to the next level- G2 it. My 126 makes 174HP and 157 Ft./lbs of torque – Don’t think many can beat that- My 145 makes 212hp and 177 ft. lbs of torque- not bad for a small motor- The R&R 155- makes what 190? More cubes and less horse- hummm. Go to the professionals- they make HP that lasts.

Big Dog, What did you do to your 126 to produce 174hp??? Is it streetable???

  4. 4 Big Dog Nov 8th, 2008 at 11:30 am

    Guest,

Very streetable- Had it in Daytona for Biketoberfest- Great ride- Motor has about 1400 miles on it now- no problems. Give Derek a call at G2 – They built the motor from the ground up- He is the man! Very smooth running, completely balanced engine. CP Pistons – machined by G2- S&S Dual Runners- 52mm each- Twin-tec ignition- bored and tuned to motor- 13.5 – 1 compression- heads and valving by G2- lock-up clutches- Derek would be happy to talk to you- She’ll stand up in a hurry- revs to 7400- only one catch: gotta run high octane fuel- keep extra 3gal. in saddle bags- or plan trips around special fuel stops- although getting about 26 mpg. when not in the throttle.

    Big Dog ,
Had it in Daytona ? Hauled in on a trailer or rode cross country ?
1,400 miles sounds like a good week-end ride to knock the tits off a new set of tires .
Here’s an idea since your willing to put your g-2 motors against anything .
Late next August there is an event called the B U B races that are held at the Bonneville Salt Flats , motorcycles only .
    THE GREAT WHITE DYNO .
Bring that bad boy out and we can all see the results .
See you there on my daily rider , an 04 Dyna with a 124 inch R & R motor that has over 300 hours on the motor according to the Daytona Twin_ Tec computer .
Rode in this summer after a 15,000 mile rode trip and ran 147.098 mph on Sunday before lunch , last day of the meet .
Fuel average is over 40 mpg with 140 plus foot pounds of torque and over 140 horsepower on Chevron premium pump gas .
Bike #1944 . you can find it listed in the Sunday run log .

i am going to have to give that some thought.. right now i am trying to figure out how to get the buell forks on my softtail. i dont know if i should use custom trees or have mine modified or have the buells modified. also i want toinstall the fairing like the G2 bikes have i think it looks nice .
    .
i know the buell forks are 53mm at top so i just might call g2 tomorrow and see.

    Big Dog,
13.5:1 comp on a street motor, that must run cool in traffic in Daytona I’m sure if you add that compression to the R&R 155 10.2:1 engine with the right cam it would be well in the 200+ hp/tq, courious what rpm are you peaking max power? 177ft lbs out of a 145″ thats it,the R&R 155″ street motor puts out 150tq at 3000rpm makes 190 at 5800rpm.

  12. 12 asphaltgambler Nov 25th, 2008 at 11:51 am

If you want streetable power with a broad torque curve, very little valve train noise and WAY less vibration than any of those other big inch motors – go with the G2 126; period

The base config makes over 150hp and 145tq rwhp on 93 octane and they have several variations to take those numbers higher.

If you want to compare hp/tq numbers for all out racing look at their other motor combos.

  13. 13 raycwheeler Nov 25th, 2008 at 1:10 pm

Way less vibration then what motors ?

    Ray

  14. 14 KEC Nov 29th, 2008 at 7:46 pm

I do not compare #. i like my build good solid and reliable. I like the G2 bikes and i also like th looks of them. Baisley puts some serious time into his heads and has great results.they are not pumped out for mass production and the results show. if i was going full drag racing then G2 would be it but after this build and the winter mods i am doin its done for this year.

    KEC,

Thanks for the compliments- Have you seen my bikes? Did Derek at G2 send pics – if not I’m sure he would be happy to, or see them in an upcoming issue of American Bagger. – send me an email at scott@undergroundprofessionals.com, I’d be happy to forward you some photos. Hope G2 has been helpful for your fork upgrade and consider them for further info and upgrades. George Bryce has a great team of people there and certainly have the ability to figure most any problems out.

    Gonzo,

Can appreciate your comments , but as most well tuned cars and bikes , if the A/F is right they will produce only an ordinary amount of heat, no matter what the fuel or compression. This 126 runs cool and did very well in the 45-50 min. stop and go down Main. St. – Daytona. PLease keep in mind that the 145 runs pump gas at a lower compression- not the 126 with 13.5- 1. The 145 numbers are at this low compression – The R&R makes 190 HP, not torque – accordingly. The G2 motor-145: Max TQ @ 4700 and Max HP @ 6800.

    RAYCWHEELER,

May just take you up on the GREAT WHITE DYNO this year – my mechanic and I have discussed this in the past and wanted to take our Pro-Charged Road King out there last year and just didn’t make it happen – Now that we have a couple more bagger bikes that can run 170-190 MPH on asphalt- we must schedule it for this year – truly believe with the correct rider we can push some of the records. Will look you up in September. Stay in touch.

  18. 18 KEC Nov 30th, 2008 at 6:46 pm

The G2 126 has less vibration than any other comparable engine due to its over-square design. In other words the G2 has just a tad over a 4″ stroke where all the others are 4-5/8″ and above stroke.
This makes for a much smoother and more free-reving engine.

Just put a set of inverted forks 58mm marrocchi adjustables on my softtail. i also installed a fat bob dual head light . witha fat boy front fender. removed approx 25 lbs off the front end with this swap.
Going to move to the rear in january i want to install a buell rim with a 180 rear . any suggestions will be helpful.
i guess goingchain drive is also going to happen
Happy Holidays guys and gals at G2 and keep up the good work
    Thanks

  22. 22 KEC Jan 9th, 2009 at 8:45 pm

i hope every one had a nce holiday..i am almost finished with some up-grades on my bike.
like previously stated i did the 58mm inverted forks with custom headlight and fat boy risers and drag bars. job went smooth with some help from guys at G2 thanks.. moved to the rear decided not to go with the buell wheel this time.. i went with a fat bob rear wheel 200mm and cut the horns off the bike mounted a 07 fatboy rear fender . Dave at JD’s cycleworks did a great job of welding and fabricating new horns. he went on the G2 site and we both were picking what we liked about certin bikes and took it from there.
bike looks stock total sleeper look.
got a few 117s going on and it looks like we will be calling g2 for the heads.
we would like to put up some killer # to show people there is more then one way to skin a cat …..
