Bill Clinton Presidential Center Hosts “Art of the Chopper”

Through Feb. 8, the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, Ark hosts “Art of the Chopper” an exhibit of 30 gleaming handcrafted motorcycles from around the country. Clinton center director Terri Garner says “Just as Bill Clinton defines the end of the 20th century, so does the chopper”. These custom motorcycles (with portraits of the builders) are already featured in Tom Zimberoff’ 2 hard cover books “Art Of The Chopper I & II’. The exhibit is included in the museum’s regular admission price. Tickets: $7, adults; $5, seniors (62 and older).

I think that this is pretty cool; regardless of how you feel about former President Clinton, I think if you are in the area that this would be something worthwhile to see, amongst the other things that are in the library that are of significant historical value.

“… things that are in the library that are of significant historical value…”

    What…. like a stained Blue Dress…….???

Nicker, had to go to the blue dress, didn’t you./lol. I’m sure that they might have some cigars on display as well (used and new). It sounds like you aren’t a big Clinton fan, and I don’t claim to be either, but how often do you see any kind of motorcycles displayed at presidental libraries/centers, even if it is for a short time period? And if someone is into Civics/Gov’t and that type of stuff, I am sure that they would find interesting things to check out there in regards to that subject matter as well. Just wanting to put a positive observation on it, that’s all.

No one is going to top Nickers comment here. I or no one else could put it any better.
    MERRY CHRISTMAS Nicker and thanks.

Do any of the choppers have an original “no fat chicks” sticker on them?

Did anyone read the news yesterday saying Who paid to build Bills library ? Around 500 million from foreign interests ! The same people Hillary is going to be negotiating with as Secretary of state. Anyway yea it is cool to have the bikes on display , but IMHO, its just so Billy boy can get close to some Hot ass biker chicks !

    “…sounds like you aren’t a big Clinton fan…”

    Ahhhmm… That would be a resounding….NO!

Look up Col. Homes’ Sworn Affidavit (full text) on how old BillJeff dodged the draft.
Then read the letter Billy-boy wrote to Col Homes from England trying to excuse the dodge.

Anything of “historical” interest isn’t being shown.
That’s why Judicial Watch has an ongoing FOIA suit, trying to get some of that material opened up.
(so far its SOP for the Clintons, stall, stonewall and obfuscate).

This is the first President in History that was credibly accused of rape.
That’s historical, but i bet it won’t show in his Presidential Library/Massage-Parlor.

But, in the context of this blog, all that is beside the point.
Exactly what could Billy Jeff and Motorcycles possibly have in common……????
He may as well have put on a Quilting display.

Madp- has it right on the money. The Middle East oil money that Billy got to set up his diggs will
be on hell of a conflict of interest for Hillary.
So, where is the media on this…..???

    Just MHO….. 🙂

Nicker, I’m not disputing anything you say, Clinton had a dark cloud over him from the get-go, from the time he was the Gov. of AR till now, he and Hillary were wrapped up in so many scandals in their careers that it made celebs like Lindsay Lohan and R Kelly look honorable in their issues. The main reason I commented on this topic was it was something out of the norm. (I thought anyways) Most presidents in recent history have had scandals hanging over their head from Nixon on, and probably before him. If they had the bike display in any other former president’s library, regardless of political party, time they were in the presidency, etc…I would have thought it was cool just the same. As far as the media, I think that everyone here and elsewhere knows how they have been leaning for the last 30+ years, that shouldn’t be a suprise to anyone here, when it comes to certain politicans and or political parties, we know how the media is going to go on that, there is really no integrity or honor in the media anymore, whether it’s is TV news, internet, newspapers, magazines, whatever. To get any kind of impartial news nowadays is a pipe dream, they always lean one way or another. Whatever happened to telling the story straight and letting the public decide? Perhaps a good idea, but it won’t happen anymore…

98 percent of all politicians are corrupt, IMHO from the City Counsel of any town USA all the way to the Oval Office. Pres. Nixon was just man enough, to stand up and take the hit so all the congressmen/women wouldn’t be drug into the mess and make the entire USA a Joke. Had Nixon been a Democrat they would have done anything to blame someone else ! That’s what they do, blame the GOP for everything.
