Bennett’s Performance Celebrates Its 10-Year Anniversary

bennettperformanceI am not going to post about all anniversaries in the industry, but the guys at Bennett’s Performance deserve a plug. The reason? Well,  in 10 years the small repair shop has turned into one of the top Harley-Davidson performance shops in the country. Beginning in 2001 Bennett’s performance was put in the national spotlight by being the shop of choice for many magazine articles. The past few years has seen them in numerous publications and websites as they ply their craft and add their expertise for various articles, these include; American Rider, American Iron, Baggers, Cycle Source, Hot Bike, IronWorks, Quick Throttle, Street Chopper, etc the TV shows Biker Build Off, and American Thunder.

Bennett’s Performance has also collaborated with many top-notch custom builders including Roland Sands, Gard Hollinger, Todd Sillicato, and Jesse Rooke, with engines that are second to none. As the company has grown Bennett’s has forged strong ties with many industry heavyweights such as Branch-OKeefe (formerly Branch Flowmetrics), Primo Rivera, S&S Cycle, and Daytona Twin Tec.

Bob and Eric competed in the S&S 50th anniversary bike build competition (pictured bike), and won their class, building a stellar Bonneville Salt Flat Racer as a tribute to S&S’ storied past and countless LSR records. Creation of this race bike was no coincidence, it was built on experience the pair gained on the salt flats with their multiple record-holding 100-inch Sportster, top speed 192.221 mph. So Happy Anniversary and see you again in Bonneville in September.  Bennett’s Performance Inc.

Bob and Eric are good people. Have gotten to know them a little via landspeed racing. One of the teams I look forward to seeing each year on the Salt. Their S&S build pictured above is stellar. It was my favorite motorcycle of the 50th event. I’d love to be on the salt when their sportster breaks the 200 mark.

    See you in Sept!
