Joke Of The Week. Drinking with An Arizona Girl…

A  Mexican, an Arab, and an Arizona girl are in the same bar.

When the  Mexican finishes his beer, he throws his glass in the air, pulls out his pistol and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, ‘In Mexico our glasses are so cheap we don’t need to drink with the same one twice.’

The  Arab, obviously impressed by this, drinks a non-alcohol beer (because he is a Muslim), throws it into the air, pulls out his AK-47, and shoot the glass to pieces. He says, ‘In the Arab World we have so much sand to make glasses that we don’t need to drink with the same one twice either.’

The   Arizona girl, cool as a cucumber, picks up her beer, downs it in one gulp, throws the glass into the air, whips out her 45 and shoots the Mexican and the Arab. Catching her glass, sting it on the bar and  calling for a refill, she says, ‘In   Arizona, we have so many illegal aliens  that we don’t have to drink with the  same ones twice.’ God Bless Arizona. That’s funny… -where I come from, unfunny racist comedians are the ones who get shot.

hey, Michael, relax. It’s a joke and it’s not racist. By the way anyone against ILLEGAL immigration is not racist. If you come from a place where comedians are shot for doing jokes (where is it?), welcome to America. But only if you came here legally.

HELGA’S DIARY ON A CRUISE SHIP

    DEAR DIARY – DAY 1

All packed for the cruise ship — all my nicest dresses, swimsuits, short sets. Really, really exciting. Our local Red Hat chapter decided on this “all-girls” trip.

    DEAR DIARY – DAY 2

Entire day at sea, beautiful. Saw whales and dolphins. Met the Captain today — seems like a very nice man.

    DEAR DIARY – DAY 3

At the pool today. Did some shuffleboard, hit golf balls off the deck. Captain invited me to join him at his table for dinner. Felt honored and had a wonderful time. He is very attractive and attentive.

    DEAR DIARY – DAY 4
Won $800.00 in the ship’s casino. Captain asked me to have dinner with him in his own cabin. Had a scrumptious meal complete with caviar and champagne. He asked me to stay the night, but I declined. Told him I could not be unfaithful to my husband.

    DEAR DIARY – DAY 5

Pool again today. Got sunburned, and I went inside to drink at piano-bar, stayed there for rest of day. Captain saw me, bought me several large drinks. Really is charming. Again asked me to visit his cabin for the night. Again I declined. He told me, if I did not let him have his way with me, he would sink the ship.. I was shocked..

    DEAR DIARY – DAY 6

    Today I saved 1600 lives.

    Twice

    Over & Out,

    Jeff

Iowa spent $92 million dollars on illegal aliens last year supporting them with housing, food, medical and schooling. My tax dollars at work….. Arizona must have spent 100 times that.

Michael is not an real American as those in Arizona and else where that have a problem being stopped and asked for their documents. I for one am a proud American who can speak read and write English and they can stop me and ask for my documents anytime they please or have a good reason to. And I think any American or anyone here legally would have no problem doing so. The rest you you please return to your Nation of origin as all you are ,are blood sucking criminals that dont belong here and we dont want you !!!!!

This is America and do you know that my father came here in 56 during the Hungarian revolution, he came here to speak english and to be an American, not to be Hungarian, to be American, my father taught himself english and knows more about American that myself being born here. Sure my Dad loves his heritage and where he comes from but he did leave that to come to a better place to better himeself, to adopt the ways of the people and the land where they live. My Dad tried to teach me the language of Hungary but my Mom said no he only speaks English! Thats they way it was back then, you didnt come here to try and take over, you came to be an American and if that means someone asking where you were born and to show I.D., you do proudly because you are legal!

Michael…that’s funny…because where I come from, the LEGAL Mexicans are making the same jokes. Those who worked hard to be here, or whose parents did the same, are angered by those doing it illegally.
Kinda like when you were a kid and you worked real hard to buy something special like an album, or a video game, only to see some kid down the street get it handed to him.

Make sense yet dipshit? Bleeding heart….you’re either gay or illegal..both of you are still bitching about your rights.

Your parents came here with your mother to start a better life and become an American…they did not come here to live for free, and they did not come with another man to start a family.

Let’s move the joke to San Francisco and throw Michael in there too.

Right on, Pitbull! My parents are from Europe & they patiently waited for FOUR YEARS to get their papers so they could come to America. Yo- I’m AGAINST illegal immigration and compelled jump in when an immigrant gets bagged on just for being in America. A few of my friends are “Mexican” or “Arab” and I wouldn’t be much of a friend if I didn’t stick up for them, now would I?

Ironically, my BOTH of my American Great (x5) Grandfathers were illegal aliens living in Mexican Tejas by 1806. They habitually broke Mexico’s laws (against slavery, squatting and Protestantism) and had over a dozen brats a piece -sound familiar? Do the math -if you live in the Lone Star, you gotta better chance of being kin to one of my illegal ancestors than winning a scratch-off.

  17. 17 just my opinion May 13th, 2010 at 3:52 pm

Let me throw in my two cents here.
Unless you are a Native American ie. INDIAN your family came here from somewere else. And you can say that they did it legally but that would be bullshit in most cases. There was no immigration laws when most of our relitives came here. What there was tho was some Haters that called our relitives every bad word they could think of and any slam they could think of. People were tortured and killed for no other reason than they wanted to give their children a better life. It was wrong for those people in the past to hate on our relitives just as it is wrong for you all to hate on the immigrants of today. Sure some of these people come here for the free hand outs, but most are here for one reason { too work hard and provide a better life to the children } I don’t have any problem with people wanting to be American. If I was born on the other side of the border I would want to be here too. A lot of you will argue that these people could do it legally. But think about this. The average worker in Mexico earns 5-7 dollars a day and those are 12 hour days not 8 hour and after feeding and housing his family how much do you think he can save to pay for all the bullshit fees our government charges to do this immigration legally? The only thing I have a problem with is our government giving immigrants wellfare, foodstamps, free schooling and all the other free bee’s but then I have a problem with a lot of our fellow countrymen that get these free hand outs as well.

  18. 18 Jeff Nicklus May 13th, 2010 at 4:07 pm

    JMO,

The bottom line here is: Whoever is in this country illegally should be arrested and deported immediately, period. The issue is simple: They broke our laws now it is time to pay up! The conditions in their home country are not the issue here. If things are so bad in their home country then maybe they would be better advised to stay home and change those conditions. It seems we did just that in 1776 in this country, and that seems to have worked out very well. Hell, I have a great idea, let’s send the King of Change (Obama) to Mexico and he can change things to the utopia he promises here.

Come to this country, learn to speak English, work and pay your taxes and I will say Welcome. Until then, get the hell out!

Jeff; The problem with your idea is that it is impossible to deport the 12 million illegals that are currently here. If you can’t deport them, why would it not be better to make them legal citizens and let them work the jobs they are working anyway? The only differance would be that they would be paying taxes.
In a perfect world we could deport each and every person that came here illegally and keep them from coming back, but the reality is that we don’t have the man power or the funds needed to do a massive deporting. Let alone the fact that they would simply re-enter our country anyway. Have you ever wondered why the government does not stop the flow of illegals. Could it be that the government wants these workers here? Think about this if jose works under an assumed name lets say gorge and he uses an assumed SS# his boss would be with holding that SS money from his checks and sending it to our government. But if it is being paid to a bogus account number what happens to those funds? Now times that by 12 million. That could be the insentive needed to let these people cross our borders when ever they want couldn’t it? It would also be enough to build a fencing system that would stop the flow of illegals. So why does it not happen?
If the government really wanted to stop this flow of illegals they would have done it. You cannot tell me that we can send a man to the moon but we can’t build a fence that can keep these people out. As long as people say that the illegals that are already here should not be made legal citizens nothing will change. Those people will not leave and we will not be collecting their share of Taxes or SS. The only way to stop this is to make all that are already here legal and build fencing that will keep them out in the future. One last thought you said these people should have stayed in their country and changed things there for the better. If it is that easy too make major changes than why are 10,000 illegals coming thru Texas every month? Surely with all you Texans that are against the illegals coming in to our country you should be able to stop the flow at least in your state can’t you? Change is not as easy as it sounds is it.

If “our” government had not degraded to this well fare state we now have there would be no problem with immigration of anyone who could come and stand on there own tow feet. What we have now is most of the immigrants come and want to live off of the one of us who pay the taxes and support them t our downfall and decline of ‘our’ way of life while they want to continue with the old county ways!

I dunno, my family came over from Sweden in 1903 via Ellis island and went through the process and eventually became citizens. My point is, there was a process then and there should be now. Any country has a right and even an obligation to know who’s coming into their borders. You can’t blame someone for wanting to come over here, but you also would have to agree there should be a process and a country can’t just let everyone in. Sorry, but life ain’t fair. Even in the USA.

  25. 25 David May 13th, 2010 at 11:50 pm

Just my opinion—You must be a democrat weeping for all those illegals earning good old american dollars, taking all the free benefits and then sending all their tax free dollars back to mexico. the reason the govt does nothing is because there is such opposition to legalizing 12 million immigrants and then still having them on the doal. Do you think this would stop the flow across the borders? The Democrats would do it instantly if they could just for the votes to keep them in power and redistributing the wealth to those poor mexican immigrants.
If I could I would set close to the border with my .308 and discourage as many as I could from coming across into Texas.
We cant afford to keep giving away free stuff to anyone asking for it. It seems this is a problem with America and I dont just mean people coming across the southern border. What about all the cash we send all over the world to support everyone else that gets our American tax dollars and could care less about us and spit on and burn our flag and our way of life thats keeps them housed or fed.
I say it’s time to end it all until we get back on our feet and have paid off all our debt.
Although we could use all that southern labor to build a sixty foot tall by ten foot wide concrete wall with guard towers and lighting from solar and wind power every 100 yards from the tip of Texas to the California Coast. Maybe then we can see how well they can navigate oceans.
If it is so bad to live in mexico why do they keep having babies and letting them grow up in poverty just for them to come here.
I say load them on buses and send them back if htey are illegal and their kids with them since there would be no one here to see after them.SEND THEM BACK. I’ll pick the tomatoes.

    JMO,

I wonder if during our little revolt in this country in 1776 how many of our founding fathers said …. “this isn’t going to be easy so maybe we shouldn’t even try” ????

No, maybe we can’t deport 12 million illegal’s, but we damn sure can try can’t we? After all these people are criminals, nothing more or nothing less …. period! They violated the laws of this country by entering illegally. Also, if memory serves me correctly Ronald Reagan did issue an “ally ally in free” card once and it did not work, so what makes you think that would work now? At this point the only purpose any illegal alien amnesty bill would serve is to put 12 million more Democrats on the voter base. I do however agree with you that we, the American Government, have tended to turn a blind eye toward our southern borders and that must stop and stop now!

One last item of note: Yes, we in Texas could stop the crossing of our borders from the south …. The laws of this state are the only thing stopping us. One should note that were it legal a little 300 mag has a way of reaching out and touching someone when used properly and there would be no need for any walls at that point. Harsh, yes, but effective …… guarantee you the rate of illegal crossings in Texas would dramatically diminish.

    Over & Out,

    Jeff

  27. 27 JB May 14th, 2010 at 12:19 pm

The only way to truely fix the illegal immigration problem is to take away their incentive. First and foremost, it should be a felony to employ an illegal alien with a punishment which includes jail time, and a 7 figure fine. This would make hiring illegals far too risky for any company, and many would probably leave willingly. Second, any illegal applying for any government assistance, found breaking the law, or showing up in a hospital for care should be deported immediately. Third, allow anyone illegally crossing the boarder to be treated as what they are, an invading force, and let the citizens of this great country defend it against the invaders.

Obviously the government would need to make legal boarder crossing possible for some migrant workers that our farming industry depends on, but there would need to be rules and time limits that are strictly enforced.

The reason this has never been addressed is because the democrats want the illegals here to vote, but not work (because of union connections with the democrats), and the republicans (in Washington) want them here to work to support business, but not to vote.

  28. 28 just my opinion May 14th, 2010 at 2:24 pm

Let me address this item by item.
First David accuses me of being a democrat. WRONG I am a proud independent thinker and have always been so. I believe our system is broken and is set up for failure. When ever you have a system that pits one party against the other, very little will ever be accomplished. And as for me wanting to give free money away. If David could read and more importantly comprehend what he reads he would know I said I have a problem with anyone getting free hand outs, illegals and our so called citizens. Everyone in this country should work for their own with the exception of the handicapped. Welfare should be a hand up not a hand out, if you have been on welfare for more than a couple months you are not wanting to work you are wanting a free ride. And the truth be told we have a hell of a lot more citizen’s on welfare than there is illegals on welfare. There is so many things wrong in this country as far as free hand outs being given that if that alone was stopped our national debt would be gone. And don’t tell me it is only Democrats giving away our money it is both parties Republicans as well as Democrats. It was only a few weeks ago that a Republican congressmen was caught using 30,000 per month of our tax dollars for travel expenses. Does that sound reasonable to you if so you must be smoking the same shit as these politician’s. Now I am not saying only Republicans are doing this if fact I am sure both Democrats and Republicans waste our hard earned money. And I also know that both parties are involved in the free giving of our tax money. That is the main job of our government take from the working class and give to the lazy ass welfare cases and the wealthy. The middle class has always payed the way for both the rich and the poor.

Jeff; The war of 1776 was about us becoming our own nation/ gaining independents from the mother land of England not keeping people out of our nation. If you want to be honest then just admit it we Americans invaded the land of the Indian’s and so how are we any different than the Mexican’s? And in fact at the time of that invasion by our forefathers the land that you now call Texas belonged to the country responsible for our current invasion. That is right Texas was Mexico. And as for the only reason you Texans don’t seal the border is because of your state laws. Well let me be the first to give you the good news. You Texan’s can vote your bleeding heart politician’s out of office. You don’t need the 300 mag. just vote and encourage those around you to vote. Then seal that border.

JB your comment on illegals voting is so far out there that it is almost not worth commenting on. Illegals have no voting rights.
But I do agree that the employers of these illegal workers should be held accountable. In fact if they had to pay huge fines like 10,000 per offense this would stop rather quickly.

As Jeff likes to say “the bottom line here is”.
We are creating the opportunity for these workers. So if you want to stop the flow of illegals start by not supporting all the businesses around you that are using their labor. Let the store owner know that you will not condone their using illegal workers. Vote your politicians out that allow this to continue and next time you meet an attorney that helps an illegal get those free benefits let them know what you think of our country being invaded as you say. but if you are not willing to do any of these things them stop your whining and go get yourself a Yumbo Yak burger from yak in the box and enjoy it.

It has always been funny to me how so many people say they want to stop these illegals from coming here but then you go to your local store and buy your items knowing that the people stocking their shelves are illegals. You go eat at the fast food chain’s and practically have to order in Spanish but you still buy their food knowing the people cooking it and serving it are illegals you go to bike rallies and stay in Hotels but your maids are illegals. You continue to buy new houses knowing that they were built by illegal immigrants. Seems to me that some of you maybe you are a little hypocritical. You want them to clean up after you and serve you meals and stock the shelves in your local stores and build you new homes do your land scaping but you don’t want them in our country. Like I said sounds a little hypocritical. But that’s just my two cents you have the right to your opinion just as I have a right to mine. That is what makes our country the country everyone wants to live in. We have the freedom to express our thoughts right or wrong, popular or not.

    JMO,

First: I acted as my own General Contractor (and Architect) on my house and not one subcontractor I employed or his workers were allowed on the site without proof of citizenship (Green Card and/or Social Security Card which I could verify) and an insurance certificate for that matter.

Second: My lawn guys are white guys that live not far from me and use college kids throughout the year.

Third: My pool guys name is Herbert and he moved to the United States legally from Mexico, with his family, 26 years ago and both he and his family have since become American Citizens. Further he has no tolerance for those coming here illegally and therefore will not employee what he call “wetbacks”.

Fourth: I have never employed anyone with any of my companies that we could not verify their American Citizenship. We do not now, nor have we ever knowingly employed persons here illegally.

Fifth: I am very well versed on the American Revolution and its purpose. I am not implying that the war of 1776 was fought over “keeping aliens” out of this country. (Although in the end we did throw those Red Coat bastards out of town). I am suggesting that the Mexican population would be better served by rising up against their own government and fight to make their country a better place to live and work.

Sixth: Your statement …..” That is right Texas was Mexico.” ……. In this sentence “was” is used as a past tense verb … get the picture? FYI: One of my distant family members died at a place originally known as Mision San Antonio de Valero, today better known as The Alamo, so you can say we have been around these parts awhile now and more than willing to fight for what we believe in.

OK, with that I say to all, have a great weekend, keep the shinny side up and I am …

    Over & Out,

    Jeff

  30. 30 just my opinion May 14th, 2010 at 5:47 pm

Jeff; Take a deap breath and have a scotch. I think the only thing we really disagree on is whether or not the illegals that are currently here should be allowed to become citizens. The only reason I would say they should be allowed too be legalized is the fact that we don’t have the ability or desire in most cases to remove those here illegally. Ask yourself one thing is it better to legalize and then have the ability to collect Taxes from the 12 million people so that they are paying their own way or continue to give them free welfare, foodstamps, free schooling including free lunchs for their children, free hospitalization and anything else the attornies can get for them? We can’t seem to stop the 12 million we already have and the number grows daily. I have shared my thought and belief that we as a country would be better off to let these people have the life they desire but make them pay taxes the same as the rest of us do and they should not be able to get any free services for the first ten years. And we need to build a damn fence ASAP and not just to stop the immigrants but terrorist could also enter this country because of our lack of border restriction. But if you are right and maybe you are. Please share with the rest of us the Jeff Nicklus plan on how you could get 12 million people to leave our country peacefully. I personally don’t see it happening but I have been known to be wrong before. If your plan works you should get started on the next plan right away.
“The how to get lazy American’s off welfare plan” and if it works we will require your service to come up with the ” stop politician’s from stealing our money and giving it away plan”
It has been fun but it is now the weekend and I must drive to the border to pick up some relitives that will be crossing at el paso. Have a great weekend.

Here’s a story worth reading. No photo so visulize

My name is d’Lynn. I’m a disabled Vietnam vet. I don’t look too bad for a beat-up old vet, do I? And that’s my ride.
She’s pretty good looking also, especially when you consider that she’ll turn twenty this summer. That’s right, it’s a 1990 with a 1990 sidecar. I can’t ride a solo bike (ergo the sidecar rig). It’s my sole means of transportation – rain or shine, snow or wind, and this summer also marks a milestone in both of our lives, as I will finally be able to pay her off. Twenty years old? What?
Why did it take so long? You weren’t paying attention, were you? It’s right at the beginning of this paragraph. I am a disabled vet, which means I receive a veterans administration disability pension, which also means “I’m broke!” Just one step ahead of being homeless every month, and that’s not an idle statement or an “Oh, woe is me” dire complaint. There’s a point to this, so hang in there a minute or two and read on.

There’s a 25-year-old illegal immigrant woman living in Florida , with eight kids. Yes, eight “anchor babies” and she receives just shy of $1,500 per month per kid, plus medical, plus food stamps.

Oh, wait. I’ve been informed that I shouldn’t call them Food Stamps anymore. That’s not PC. It’s all called “Social Assistance” now. You do the math on that yourself. I’d say that she was schooled early in how to make it in the system. Twenty-five years old, eight kids .. . . . . yep, she started early.

You can whip out the calculator if you want, but this woman who never has paid a dime in taxes of any kind, (and still doesn’t – she’s ‘illegal,’ remember?) is here in this country illegally.

She hasn’t paid one cent in medical for all of the “anchor babies,” makes more in one month, legally, than I receive in over a year and a half in disability payments, and I can’t even get food stamps! Oops, I mean “Social Assistance.”

Technically I am eligible for “Social Assistance.” I was told it would be a walk through – a gimme – being disabled. No problem, and in the very next breath I was also informed that under the law the amount I received in “Social Assistance” would be deducted from my disability pension.

Let’s say I take a great photograph. It was just luck, a one of a kind accidental, in the right place at the right time shot. My local newspaper offers me fifty bucks to use the photo in a featured story. (I live in a small town, and fifty bucks is all they could afford.)

I have to report that fifty dollars to the VA as earned income, which will immediately be deducted from my next month’s disability check. If I don’t report it I’m in violation of federal law and technically they can stop my disability pension and prosecute me under a federal felony. Pretty cool, eh? For fifty bucks.

I see no point in dealing with two federal bureaucracies, so I don’t bother. What’s the point?

She’s here illegally and with just one kid would make over twice what I receive per month. She has eight and she’s not a stand-out case. She’s not alone. That’s the way the system works. Millions of illegal immigrants know this, know how the system works and know how to use it. (Haven’t you seen the pamphlet? It’s handed out all along our borders, “The Illegal Immigrants’ Guide to Keeping America Just The Way It Is.”) and that’s just the way it works.

Did you know that the federal government provides a “refugee” in this country with a monthly “stipend” of $1,890, plus $580 a month in “Social Assistance?” That’s $2,470 a month, tax-free.

That’s two and a half times what I’m allowed to receive as a disabled vet. And just what did they do to earn this? All you have to do is show up on our collective doorstep, raise your right hand and swear that you’re a refugee and, bingo, receive $30,000 a year, tax-free.

That’s more than someone making $15 an hour, and they have to pay taxes to boot!

I received the story above a couple of days ago before it was published here by Fuji. Lynn probably repeats what he heard but never verified any of these facts. I challenge his statements and anyone can contact the Social Security Administration and an immigration lawyer to get confirmation of what I say.

1- No illegal immigrants can obtain a Social Security Card! No illegal immigrant receives Social Security benefits for children. So, of course, no illegal immigrant receives $1500 x the number of kids.

3- All Social Security are reported to the IRS and taxable.

4- You don’t raise your hand, say that you are persecuted in your country, and become a political
refugee in the United States. It’s false. It takes several years of investigation by ICE to check proof of PERSONAL PERSECUTION. Even coming from a communist country or from a country at war is not enough to get the status of refugee.

Now, I agree that a Vet should be treated with more respect, more assistance and support. But he is fighting on the “wrong side” believing false assumptions.

    Cyril-

You are correct in all of your statements 1-4 the way you stated them. What you failed to account for is that though the mother is an illegal those 8 children are U.S. Citizens so therefore they are allowed to receive government assistance. Them being citizens allows her to remain in the country and receive compensation on their behalf to ensure their well being. They are all eligible if they were born here (that is exactly what an Anchor Baby is- a child born on U.S.A. soil for the sole purpose of allowing the parents to remain in the country.). It is completely possible that each of those children is receiving cash benefits from the government.

If you ever testify in court, you might wish
you could have been as sharp as this
    policeman. He was being cross-examined
by a defense attorney during a felony trial.
The lawyer was trying to undermine the policeman’s credibility…
Q: “Officer —did you see my client fleeing the scene?”
A: “No sir. But I subsequently observed a person matching the
description of the offender, running several blocks away.”
    Q: “Officer—who provided this description?”
A: “The officer who responded to the scene.”
Q: “A fellow officer provided the description of this so-called
    offender.
Do you trust your fellow officers?”
A: “ Yes, sir. With my life.”
Q: “With your life? Let me ask you this then officer. Do you have a room
where you change your clothes in preparation for your daily duties?”
    A: “Yes sir, we do!”
Q: “And do you have a locker in the room?”
    A: “Yes sir, I do.”
Q: “And do you have a lock on your locker?”
    A: “Yes sir.”
Q: “Now why is it, Officer, if you trust your fellow officers with your
life, you find it necessary to lock your locker in a room you share with
    these same officers?”
A: “You see, sir—we share the building with the court complex, and
sometimes lawyers have been known to walk through that room.”

The courtroom EXPLODED with laughter, and a prompt recess was called.

    Woody’s; Just so you know.
If there was 12 million murderers in this country and they each killed 1 person per day they would run out of victim’s in our country in less than a year.
If there was 12 million bike thieves they could steal every Harley ever built in less than a week.
try comparing apple’s to apple’s not apple’s to horse shit.

And let’s not forget 99% of all the illegal immigrants have done nothing illegal other than crossing the border. And the only reason they did that was to have a better life for themselves and their children. The same thing your relatives had done at some point in the past unless you are a Native American Indian. Let’s also remember these are Human being’s we are talking about not Animal’s
Did you know it is easier to get a permit to bring a dog into our country than it is to come here as a immigrant. I say it is a sad day when we treat an animal better than we do human’s.
We are American’s we are a country that was built by immigrant’s and we are the country that opens it’s arms to immigrant’s. It is countries like Iran and Iraq that treats people as if they have no value. I agree that they should come here legally but first there must be a system in place that makes that affordable to all people to do it legally not just the ones that have the financial ability to come here legally. Enough said on this subject.

    http://www.socialsecurity.gov/pubs/10100.html#foodstamps

Those two links make it pretty clear that the legal children of illegal aliens are eligible for both SSI and Food Stamps as well asother Nutritional Programs. In the case of the Food Stamps even the illegals themselves can sometimes qualify.

  41. 41 Cyril Huze May 17th, 2010 at 12:09 pm

    To Andrew Reckart,

    I disagree with your statement.

About 25 years ago, the immigration law has been changed. To be an illegal and give birth on US territory gives US citizenship to the child, but gives absolutely no right to the mother to remain in the country. She remains an illegal. ICE has deported many illegals with young children who are born US citizens. Practically, the young children born US citizens follow the mother in deportation because they need the mother to be taken care/raised. The minor children are authorized to enter in the country as US citizens, if as minors, they have a US (legal alien) adult obtaining legal custody (meaning the mother would lose legal custody!). The mother, having violated the immigration rules will not be able to apply even only for a US tourist visa during 10 years. Her children can apply for US residency of the mother (Green card) only when they are 18 and under 21 years old and not married (1956 law to help family reunite) This application by the children for a parent to obtain a Green Card is made in what is called the “3rd preference” category, and depending of the country from where is the mother, it takes 2 to 15 years! (rules of reciprocity: the US gives green cards under the “3rd preference category” in a number equal to residency permits give to US nationals in the said foreign country).

  42. 42 Cyril Huze May 17th, 2010 at 12:35 pm

    To Andrew Reckart,

Sorry, but you are confused about who is a legal alien. 3 categories are legal: 1- Non immigrant visa (all Working Visas including investor visa, but limited in time and only to one approved employer). 2- Immigrant Visa (Permanent residency materialized by obtention of a Green Card, with right to work for who you want, no right to vote in elections, but must maintain residence in the US or lose it ). 3- Citizens born or naturalized (right to vote). The social security administration in the links you provide makes reference to non citizens who are legal, not illegal aliens. As a matter of fact, even when you are approved for a Green Card, you sign papers acknowledging that you will never require/ask/obtain public assistance. I know, because I immigrated legally in this country with first Working Visas (renewed several times), then obtaining a Green card (I signed the papers I just mentioned) then being naturalized US citizen (you need at least 5 years of Green Card status to apply). Final note, most legal residents with a Green Card don’t want (and don’t need) to become US citizens. They want to keep their original citizenship, not give it up. It’s impossible to have dual citizenship when you are US citizen, except if you are born from parents with 2 different citizenships (US and foreign).

  43. 43 Jeff Nicklus May 17th, 2010 at 3:11 pm

    JMO,

OK, let me see if I understand this …… so if the only thing 99% of all “illegal aliens” have done wrong is to break a minor Federal Statute once and then that “slight infraction” of the law is justified because these people only want to “have a better life for themselves and their children ” …. wow! Let us assume for a minute then that this thesis of yours is correct. Once we can make that assumption then one can further assume that: I would be justified in robbing a Federally Insured Bank because I need a new Ferrari and that once I purchase the new Ferrari my life and my children’s lives would be dramatically improved in direct proportion to the amount of money originally stolen. That would be my only infraction and I am would be justified in committing that one infraction of the law …. sound about right to you? Damn dude, I don’t think I could trust that argument in front of a jury.

As I like to say: The bottom line here is simple ….. if someone broke the law in coming to this country, no matter what the reasoning for the infraction of the law may be, they are criminals and should be treated as such. Further, I assume no responsibility for them being here illegally. The law is the law and I feel no “guilt” for the law being somewhat onerous and unaffordable for the impoverished. It is what it is. Don’t like the rules stay in your own sandbox!

    Just my thoughts.

    Jeff

  44. 44 Cyril Huze May 17th, 2010 at 3:49 pm

By the way, contrary to popular belief, money doesn’t make any difference with your chances to obtain a legal status in the US. I know multi millionaire people with a perfect background, personal & professional, who were unable to get any visa. It has to do with your professional qualifications, not necessarily the highest ones. For example the US doesn’t recognize any foreign doctor or surgeon diploma. Good luck if you are a star of advertising. Immigration doesn’t want you to compete with the ad agencies on Madison Avenue. As the opposite, because population is getting older the US is lacking 100’s of thousand nurses. So, if you are a nurse with a foreign diploma you are almost guaranteed a working visa and then a green card. French Chefs got priority 25 years ago. No more… Immigration changes its lists of wanted and not wanted all the time depending of US needs. Other countries do the same. If people come here illegally it’s because they know they can’t apply legally for a visa. As the opposite a bum with brother, sister, father, mother in the US is guaranteed a green card, even if he was and will be a homeless in the US. It’s the way it is.

I hope someone in the immigration department does some long term planning, think high wage earners, as to who they let in the country or you young bucks and babes might get to making more babies cause if projections are correct there is a lot of entitlement that will need funding not just counting social security but that in itself says the US will need to import/let immigrate quite a few potentially higher earning tax paying immigrants to pay SS and Medicade/Medicare, etc. not to mention wealth sharing concerns/outlays:

    Excerpt from the US Census Bureau projections;

August 14, 2008 – An Older and More Diverse Nation by Midcentury. The nation will be more racially and ethnically diverse, as well as much older, by midcentury, according to projections released today. Minorities, now roughly one-third of the U.S. population, are expected to become the majority in 2042, with the nation projected to be 54 percent minority in 2050. By 2023, minorities will comprise more than half of all children. In 2030, when all of the baby boomers will be 65 and older, nearly one in five U.S. residents is expected to be 65 and older. This age group is projected to increase to 88.5 million in 2050, more than doubling the number in 2008 (38.7 million).

Plus US farms going away over time the bigger World problem will be food for:

World Population Approaches 7 Billion. World population is projected to reach 7 billion in 2012. These figures come from the updated world population estimates and projections released through the International Data Base (IDB).

My wife work and she pays tax on her earnings and we file together. Although If I ever get another cost of living raise she may have to pay a small amont more.My wife carries health insurance on us both and it cost her over $750 a month.

    P.S. I’ll be glad when Obama and Nancy and Harry get this health care rolling so we can start saving that $750 a month. We might be able to pay all the extra Taxes and Inflation we are all going to have ot deal with if things dont change soon.     Further to d’lynn pointa above, I am not sure that he is pointing to SS Assistance by his words as social assistance could be welfare or numerous other programs and that is different than ss benefits, for example see 1996 welfare reform act which reeled it in some but as it, the reform act states it cut off welfare benefits for many, read into that not all, illegals receiving benefits;
Of course in the case of all social assistance programs and even social security benefits its outlay of funds are only inline with rules if checked, followed, and are not misrepresented by false claims, ones using bogus identity and info, etc.
In the case of welfare for instance a proof of residency, such as an electric bill and an id is sufficent in some states, I do not see that as a proof of citizenry. So the joke on the American system continues.

    – Problem is the hidden costs.

    and the biggest issue,

Just checked and still not one of you can come up with a valid plan of how to get 12 million people to leave our country. Including the great Jeff Nicklus. Maybe that in itself is the best arguement for legalization.

  55. 55 Jeff Nicklus May 19th, 2010 at 11:35 am

    JMO,

You wouldn’t like my plan! You require a “peaceful resolution” …. I would disagree. I would issue a notice that everyone in this country illegally has 60 days to pack up your belongings and 18 children and get out. After the 60 days I would say we need to do whatever is necessary, even a house to house round up if necessary to insure their departure. Really all one would have to do is wait at the welfare offices, food stamp distribution locations, emergency rooms, Cinco de Mayo street parties, hang outside of the Latino bars on a Friday or Saturday night, look at the illegal alien work pick up sites or why not just start with the county/state jails? Arizona has at least a good start on catching some of these people yet the bleeding hearts of this country are screaming “racial profiling” … duh!

As for crossing our borders illegally …. anyone observed, or caught, entering this country illegally should be considered an enemy combatant and therefore should be treated as such. As I have said before, a few well placed rounds down range will do wonders toward our security. No more left wing pussy footing around, no more “well, what will the world think” ….. who cares? They think we are a bunch of sissy boys who are ran by the nose by women anyway …. they consider us weak! Screw having the world “respect us” …. we have tried being nice guys, that doesn’t work … it is time for the World to FEAR US! Bomb one of our buildings again and we make a glass parking lot out your little third world country …. Simple, even a terrorist or a liberal can understand that. Remember the saying: Peace through Strength?

Do these things and you would have 12 million illegal’s fighting to get out of this country and those plotting actions against this country or our citizens would look elsewhere for victims.

Answer your questions as to how the great Jeff Nicklus would resolve the issue?

    Over & Out,

In your comment is the answer simple as part of the word legalization, where as just follow and enforce the legal laws that are in place, that would be a great start. Take off the handcuffs on those that enforce the laws of this nation. In article 67 of the Mexican Population mandate it states the following:

Article 67 of the Mexican Population Law

“Authorities, whether federal, state or municipal are required to demand that foreigners prove their legal presence in the country, before attending to any issues”

Noting: We should do no less

That would be a pretty good start.

Jeff; Your plan is not only nonsensical but what if we did allow our government to go door to door like you say? Maybe you would be willing to lead the charge and you and our government could come and take all the guns. Then while your at it, next you can tell us how to think and behave. That sounds like something Hitler would have done, Oh wait that’s right Hitler did go door to door and history has shown us what that plan would end like. Sometimes I wonder if you even think of what you are saying before you say it. If your plan was put into place you would get maybe a couple thousand rounded up before the riots started. If you think the black folks did a lot of damage over the Rodney King deal just try and install your plan and see what would happen. There was only a couple thousand people rioting during the King deal. What your talking about is insiting 12 million people and then there is another 20-30 million legal Mexicans here. Do I need to tell you what they would think of your plan? If you was in charge of this issue our country would be in shambles and most American’s would be jumping the borders north or south. If we use common sense I do think this can be dealt with peacefully. “If we use common sense”. First build the damn fences already stop the flow of people coming in. Then legalize those here that have ligitimate jobs. And yes we should cut off the free hand outs, that alone would send all the freeloaders on their way home. And one last thing I believe needs to be changed. If you are a citizen of another country and you give birth in the USA your child should not be a USA citizen automatically. There are some exceptions that may apply but for the most part this should be made law and it would discourage many from coming here and having babies in our hospitals and costing us medical bills in the process. But again all these things can be done peacefully and it would pretty much cure the problems of illegal immagrants. I will get off my soapbox now. That is my last word on this issue. Have a good day.

Further below is the link that has a reference to my comment above assuming you do not want to purchase their law document articles of law.

And talk about abuse of human rights we are far from abusive than most/the majority of other countries in enforcing ones laws and borders. See attached article of those in Mexico who dare I say some have been profiled.

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100429/ap_on_re_la_am_ca/lt_mexico_migrants_1

By the way anyone know the percentage of police officers in Arizona that are of Mexican decent, the number may be a lot higher than one thinks and may shed some light on the concern or not of profiling in lieu of following the letter of the law, that being said any officer convicted for any charge of discrimenation by profiling should be banned from law enforcement period.

Sometimes you amaze me at how dull you can be. I was speaking metaphorically with my “house to house” comment. No one with half a brain would ever conceive that happening in the United States …. unless we had an established Socialist/Communist Government in place here ….. wait, wait a minute … that’s right we do have the Obama Administration. Better hide the illegals and the guns …. No, no that isn’t correct …. better hide the guns, the illegals are the administrations friends!

JMO, In all seriousness now ….. do you in all honesty believe a “wall” is going to keep anyone out? They will tunnel under it, climb over it or just cut a hole in it and still come in. Now if you have a wall with manned gun towers on the wall, now you are talking! Now we have a deterrent. Also, in an effort to reduce the cost of the wall and towers we could sell “Illegal Alien Tags” to hunters during season …. It would be like leasing a deer stand for a weekend! I like it …. This could catch on! Maybe I could get Nugent to do a special on his show …. we could call it “Hunting with Uncle Ted on the Border”. Dude, Sometimes I even amaze myself.

OK all you illegals out there you now have free amnesity just come down to your Local Social Benefits Office and Sign up for your Free Citizenship. When they all start showing up to be registered Take their cell phones (so they cant call their cousin Jose) and start handcuffing them and busing them south of the border. Hell there is even a Mexican Bus that comes through here every other day just use them, They seem very nice and should not infer to much hardship on the illegals. The county would then just take over any property left( Geez there would be lots of pickups and guns for sale to law abiding citizens).
Problem solved what would they have to come back for it allready belongs to someone else and we can use the money to then pay off the National Debt and the taxpayers got something out of it…

‘In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American…There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag…We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language…And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people…’

If Nancy Pelosi and Obama were on a boat in the middle of the ocean and It started to sink, who would be saved? …. America!

    **********************

Q: What’s the difference between Obama and his dog, Bo?
    A: Bo has papers.

Not one to speak for anyone else but i would say based on my discussionsan feelings over the years there are a lot of Americans that are tired and irritiated by anyone who truly is American in mindset whether they be natural born and/or naturalized by choice and process in singular and national persuasion whom think that those that pre-fix American with anything is/are missing the true point of being an American period.

Those amongst us that seem to have the need and tendencies to voice/posture/to separate/segregate and subsequently divide us may have the very racial tendencies that some point out to self serve ones own interest; and no I am not saying IMO is in that catagory just that that comment above brought that to mind.

IMHO and one who has a genetic makeup that includes both native and Europeon immigrant ancestry does not need or see the need to prefix by any tag of my family’s ancestoral dessent from any other area of the world or ethnic persuasion. I am an American first and foremost and have a family history that is multicultural. When we as a nation get past the need to classify we will reduce racism no more no less. Than are many amongst us that make a profit and their livilihood is based on continuing the separative mindset.
    God Bless America

I stand corrected. You did not come up with that racist nonsense you are just the messinger that is spreading it. I get it now. You don’t create the racist remarks you only spread them as a way of stating your view points.

That is a lot different. NOT

  69. 69 Jeff Nicklus May 20th, 2010 at 4:13 pm

    JMO,

It just gives me that warm a fuzzy feeling to read “I stand corrected” from you …. you made my day. I do have a question however: It seems to me that any time you, or someone like you, cannot find a good argument and/or something is stated that is contrary to your belief mechanism then the person making the statement must either be: 1: Racist or 2: a Hater. If you didn’t vote for Obama: you are a racist & a hater. Personally I am neither and I didn’t vote for that son of a bitch.

Don’t you think it is time we start being AMERICANS and drop the bullshit hyphenated something / American? I do! I am personally fed up with this crap. However, in an effort to relate to you on a plane you can understand and feel comfortable with I will make this move to become more politically correct for you; I shall no longer be known as The Great Jeff Nicklus, hence forth I shall be Jeff Nicklus The Great Texas-American …… and heavy on the Texas portion of that boy!

Now go put on you Che t-shirt and then go hug you life size cardboard cut outs of Jesse Jackson and Lewis Faracon and Al Sharpton and Oprah, you will feel better then.

Jeff; You crack me up. When you are stuck because you have posted some stupid racist comment you go off on these tangants about Obama. Nobody said jack shit about Obama but since you brought it up here we go. I don’t think he has been the greatest President we have ever had but neither was that Texan George W. I have said it many times on this blog but just so you May understand I am not a democrat or a republican both of those parties are for the followers/sheep.
I prefer being a independant thinker. I don’t go around spreading republican views nor do I go around spreading democratic views and I sure as hell would not spread any racist bullshit just because some other politician said it first. Now that being said I also don’t think we need to be blaming all the worlds problems on Obama remember there was a huge problem with our economy that he came in to ,That your buddy George W had left. I personally don’t believe there is was politician born that has our country’s best interest at heart. in fact I would go as far as saying that 99% of them became politician’s only because they were to lazy to be criminal’s.
Sorry you got butt hurt over me calling it like I saw it but you will just have to get over it.

    JMO,

Dude, if you are not a flaming liberal I have never met one before. Tell me you didn’t vote for Obama and I will say you lie. However, credit where credit is due, way to beat around the bush …. you sure you are not a politician?

Further, I didn’t get “caught” doing anything wrong or racist, so I have no idea where that is coming from. I simply quoted the 26th President of the United States …. and I would bet Roosevelt made the statement without the use of a teleprompter ! How could that be? Wow!

If my memory serves me well, which there is no doubt it does, the entire housing “collapse” (and economic collapse) started with your buddy, and fellow liberal, William Jefferson Clinton and his order that every American is “entitled” (there is a word I am sure you love) to home ownership. The housing fiasco just blew up on Bush’s watch!

Speaking of George W. Bush, I do not believe he was one of Americas best Presidents, however, I sure as hell wish he was back in the White House. At least on Bush’s watch we were never exposed to a speech by a foreign Leader, before a joint session of congress, a speech in which the American People and the US Congress were chastised for the laws that he did not agree with. (Personally I would have grabbed that Burro Driver by the scruff of the neck and tossed his ass back across the border …. but that is just me.) Further I don’t recall Bush ever apologizing for America to any foreign leader that would listen America nor do I ever remember Bush bowing to a foreign leader either, now that I think or it.

Anyway I have a lot to do and this subject and you are starting to bore me so …..
