International Criminal Bilking Bikers With Veteran Theme Custom Motorcycle

You and me met him in bike shows showing his crazy 1985 FXST “machine gun motorcycle” customized with fake rockets, rounds of amunition and military-themed paraphernalia and later added a sidecar to it. He called it the “Vietnam Vets Tribute Bike.” Front of his bike a sign requesting $1 to photograph the motorcycle,, $5 to take a picture with it and $10 to have your picture taken while sitting on it. All this to raise money to help homeless veterans… In bike shows, he registered his machine under the name of Robert Harris aka the “Sky Soldier”. But Robert Harris is in reality an international criminal named Eugene Paull living during 33 years under a false identity that he stole from a dead person’s name. Now, guess where went all the money he raised during motorcycle events…

Hernando County investigators in Florida believe that Robert Harris/Eugene Paull has amassed a fortune from drugs trafficking in Jamaica. On the run since 1973, he built a bunker in the small city of Brooksville where he was stocking explosives, shotguns and machine guns, where he built a secret room and underground tunnel to escape. With his Jamaican girlfriend he would have amassed a fortune dealing drugs and raising money for the veterans. I don’t tell you more. The Tampa Bay News wrote a story with a lot of details about this alleged criminal and girlfriend. Amazingly, both veteran supporters are reported as being very proud of what they did and are convinced they are going to make tons of money selling their story for a book or movie! Conclusion: as always, watch out to who you give your money, even in bike shows… Read the full story at Tampa Bay News. (photos@h.roesler)

A-1 …Read the whole story in the Tampa news. The girlfriend was Jamaican and also had a false identity. This guy started trouble and many bike shows. He would throw a tantrum if he didnt get first place. He is still under investigation by the ATF for weapons and explosives.

AGAIN, never trust a man with two first names!

Sad!! I know this guy personally from the many bike shows we have attended. I have helped him several times to get his bike going. It is sad to hear that someone you thought was a good person fighting for a good cause is a fraud. What a major insult to the sacrifices of our good men and women in the military. Let the chips fall where they may. Sad!!!

I bet there are a lot of veterans out there that could find a good place to stick all those missiles and bombs.

If he didn’t advertise or show any proof of the charitable foundation and people were still giving him money, then who’s the idiot?

  16. 16 Banshee Mar 21st, 2012 at 11:15 am

Scumbag… but face it folks… evrytime we turn around there is a new “bikers for bikers” something asking for money… ABATE of Florida is the biggest scam I am aware of right now…. they have spent over a million dollars of Florida Bikerers Funds… then we have the so-called dating sites… social sites… bikers selling their so called skills to other bikers at a nice little fee… I am not even going to touch on the TV whores…. it just seems like a lot of folks want to call me “sister” as they try to scam me into paying them to do un-needed things… and then call me “bitch” when I cannot be parted from my money…

Not sure how many of you dealt with this prick but he was a HUGE PAIN IN THE ASS everytime I ran into him at a show as well as the few times he came to Willie’s for the Choppertime show..glad to see him being exposed for the true piece of shit that he is!!!!

    Yea, what he said!

  20. 20 Piece of crap Mar 23rd, 2012 at 11:47 am

This idiot should be brought to justice and sent to jail and let him rot. I hate anyone that tries to bilk money from people using the “Veteran Theme” when it’s all a scam. Makes us real ones look bad. Take him DOWN

I knew Robert Harris as he called himself. I met him the first time in Leesburg Florida. Then I met him again at Rolling Thunder in Washington DC. He was actually given permission to set his bike up in front of the Rolling Thunder Mall. The next day right before the parade hit Constitution Avenue her come the bike riding out front. I saw him again at the all Harley-Davidson Bike Show in Daytona where he was not allowed to put his bike in the show because he was not a National HOG member…Guess What, I went inside, used my card and paid for him to be my Associate Member. This is the way he worked people…he is very good. I think he had every M/C Organization in Florida believing his story. I am so disappointed in his actions and the money to took from what he said he was going to give to Homeless Vets. Now I wonder what will happen with all the money the law took from him.

If you all read the whole story Cyril posted…you will find out he is now on probation for 2 years. The problem I have is what are they going to do with all the money from the home and cash they found.

  23. 23 Lee McAndrew Mar 26th, 2012 at 2:50 pm

    Cyril,
I just want to let you know that I also have a Vietnam Veteran Tribute Bike, consisting of 13 different military related murals and 13 different custom engravings. I attend many Bike Shows at my own expense and if I get lucky enough to win any prize money, I donate it back to several veteran’s charities such as Fisher House and Segs for Vets. I do not charge for pictures. I do not charge for appearances. While showing the bike, I get quite a bit of interaction from other veterans and families of veterans. I give each of them either a support the troops pin or a POW/MIA pin. There is no charge and in the past two years I’ve given out close to two thousand pins.

This week I was at the Donnie Smith Bike Show, where last year I won peoples choice, this year I was lucky enough to win one of the cash categories amounting to $250.00. I will donate this to one of the veteran’s charities.

I’m not telling you any of this to garner a pat on the back, but rather to let you know there are those of us who are not of the low life variety as this clown you mention in the article below. This guy should be flogged and riden out of town.

If you ever get a chance, join us in DC for the Ride to the Wall. I’m the Treasure for our local Rolling Thunder Chapter here in Milwaukee and will be traveling out there with 130 plus (hopefull), other vet’s and vet supporters for the 25th anniversary.

Take care and keep the blog going.

    Lee
