Ron Finch is a highly imaginative and extremely versatile artist, a colorful and high-esteemed presence in the custom motorcycle industry. A multi-talented artist he is known world-wide for his outrageous custom motorcycles, sculptures, objects resisting any aesthetic classification and very innovative paintings as much for the experimentation techniques than for their unique designs and use of colors. Since 1965 Finch’s creations continue to draw big crowds of admirers, to attract international media attention inspiring magazine headlines such as “The Fabulous Finch”, “The King of French”, ”Finch Effect”, “King of Custom”, “Mad About Metal”, “Michigan Magician”, “Ron Finch is Nuts”, “Finch Fest”, “Got Finch?”, “Ron Finch Gets Finicky” etc…
“It’s all You Get” is a new documentary celebrating Ron and after watching it 2 times in a row, I think it’s probably the most faithful portrait that was done of him, first perfectly explaining through life stories how little Ron became the extreme artist we know and admire, then through his wife Ruth and long time friends his immense contribution to the motorcycle industry and the art world. A private screening and party is being scheduled for March or April. But you can already order the full length 91-minute long DVD or BluRay disc by going to Ron Finch Video (Written, produced and directed by Danny Grinnell)
This is toooooo cool! Can’t wait to get my copy. peace
Ron again in Cyril’s website? Well deserved.
I totally dig Fench. He has been really cool each time Ive met he and his wife. I was very lucky to be invited to his house a few years ago. That was the coolest house I have ever been in. Tons of cool stuff, like the cans that shoot to the basement and the walls on wheels.
IMOP one of the most imaginative artist around.
Looking forward to picking up copy. Say hello to Ruth for us 🙂
In an age where soul is power hammered out of most people, Ron shows you how beautiful human nature can be. He’s good at life. I think HE is what the Gods had in mind……
Thanks Cyril for promoting again Ron Finch. Great proof of friendship for a guy who deserves more recognition.
There really aren’t any words to describe my longtime buddy, if you get a chance to hang with him ……… do it. There’s never been anyone like him, he will make you smile.
I have seen the entire Ron Finch movie & it’s great & well deserved. Ron is truly an inspiration & a legend in our industry. Now we need the same kind of movie about another legend, Sugar Bear! RF
I’m looking forward to seeing this, he is one of a kind. I love the part where the squirrel falls from the tree right after Ron and his wife walk by… the Finch effect perhaps?
Didn’t know him but want to know more.
Totally agree w RF! peace
Awesome. Can’t wait to get my copy!
I have known Ron now for about 32 years. We first met showing our bikes at a show in London, Ontario, in 1980. Over the years we run into each other at rallys and the odd strip club. He never forgets you and is the real deal. I wish Ron all the best and hope someone buys his brand for $10, 000, 000 and 5% royalties, so Ron can be the next BIG NAME IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY, and live the rest of his life eating cherry pie. Ron, your tulips still grace our dining table.
From the heart!!!!
1980. Ron and I have run into each other over the years and never forgets you.
I was fortunate enough to get to spend an afternoon with Ron in 2010. He is genuine and has a talent for educating the average guy as you visit with him. His art and inspiration are timeless. I am looking forward to seeing the program and hope to get the chance to hang out with Ron again sometime..Congrats Ron.

Best regards to filmmaker and Mr & Mrs Finch. Lookin forward to seeing the show.
I saw a preliminary version of this and I can tell you it does a real good job at capturing the spirit of Ron Finch. A must for anyone that doesn’t know anything about him or for the person that would like to know more- That’s all you get!
Danny Grinnell, the filmmaker, was my high school classmate and friend. He has kept us updated with the process of making this documentary, and I am proud to own a DVD copy. Ron Finch is a legend, both locally (here, in MI,) and worldwide. Kudos to Danny and Ron!
I hope there are many more such “documentaries” in the pipeline. There are so many interesting and deserving individuals within the industry. A series of these could start a whole new genre of TV.
Ron is a true icon in the motorcycle industry! He is amazing his artistry deserves world recognition!
My Idol! Good luck with the film!
