    Convincing.

For a fraction of the cost, just get on ebay and for less than $6.00, order a 10 pack of the same rare earth magnets used by this company, stick onto your existing drain plug and/or oil filter, and done.

Mike. You’re a smart guy except that sooner of later they will fall off and you will not know…I would trust only a threaded magnetic plug.

    P. Hamilton. Thanks for the back-handed compliment about my intelligence. Actually, proper neodymium magnets will not fall off. Do some research on the topic if you wish. Better yet, go buy one then stick it on your refrigerator. Now try to pull off. After 10 minutes of trying, write back here and admit you were wrong. Otherwise, go buy your magnet drain plug for $30 and rest assured that it will not fall off.

No one ever addresses the magnetic field it creates and causes issues with the electronics in close proximity.
Specially the ones you attach to the oil filters near the rectifiers.

Ive had neodymium magnets on my oil filters and drain plugs for awhile and they work great and never fall off. Find them online for a fraction of the price. Never had any electronics issue but good food for thought.

FYI Gentlemen, our Super Black Hole 4 pack has a special shaped encapsulation (PAT. PENDING) that takes BOTH sides of the magnet and points both sides to the oil filter, doubly strong!
There is only a 2% of the magnetic field facing out. A simple magnet stuck on is a totally different story.
The encapsulation also prevents the VERY powerful magnets from breaking, (They are VERY fragile) as well.
We only use High Temperature Neodymium magnets, good for 300+F Store bought Neodymium magnets start loosing magnetism at 175F.
Thank you for allowing me to clarify.

Thanks for clarifying that Magnet Man, I use the Dimple products and the quality is top shelf all the way.

I’m sold. Bought plug for the car and the 4 way super black hole magnets for one of the bike filters.

It’s a pretty good guess they work cos the Japs and Europeans have been using them as standard kit for 30-40 years!
