Old School Ribbed Primary Cover For Softail Twin Cam Models

primarycover1primarycover2Nothing wrong with the Harley factory primary cover of its Softail Twin Cam models. Except it’s somewhat boring with a “flat” design that has been used since so many years. If you want to add some bad-ass character and old school styling to the left side of your recent Softail, the Snatch cover is an excellent option.

primarycover3Ribbed like yesteryear’s H-D Ironheads, the Snatch Primary-Cover is made out of die cast aluminum and offered in 4 finishes: raw, black, semi-polished and black cut. It will bolt-on on all 07-Up Softail Twin-Cam models and can re-use your stock hardware. Replacement Seals Kit is not included and can be ordered from the same company. Matching Snatch Rocker Boxes also available for H-D Twin Cam and Evo models. Order online at EMD USA.

Have one on my ’08 FXDF and like it. Don’t forget the peg bracket spacer, it’s included. Now going to do the “other side” of my bike, too

Looked good on Pan Heads in the 60’s.

Their website says, “The EMD / SNATCH Primary-cover will install perfectly on all 07-13 Softail Twin-Cam models and radically change the look of the right side of your gearbox, by providing the ultimate Vintage, Bobber, and even Chopper touch on any project! ” . . . radically change the look of the right side of your gearbox” ?? Err how does that work?

EMD seem to be on a roll at the moment with some nice parts on the market already and in the pipeline, definitely one to keep an eye on. I hope the quality is as good as the looks.

    “Ribbed like yesteryear’s H-D Ironheads . . . ”

Too funny. Does it also leak oil like yesteryear’s Ironheads?
