At the Bandit9 Shop, Bandit Chief Daryl Villanueva will tell you that he doesn’t and will never play by the rules followed by most custom builders. He works without any constraint – certainly not any from clients – his professional joy being to create kinetic art and to build moving sculptures.
His latest work is called The Bishop, a 125 CC Honda featuring an aluminum unibody, a gas tank with side panels made of either walnut, oak or teak, a custom exhaust & muffler, a custom suspension a charcoal grey suede seat, an electric starter, and LED brake lights encased in quartz glass. Villanueva will build only 9 of those and it will cost you about $6900, plus shipping from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Bandit9 Studio is located. More info at Bandit9.

Elegant simplicity
I’ve got a hung of metal from a rocket that my Uncle caught in his boot heel in 68 that would look great mounted on the engine case . Would finish off the “retro” look ………………………..
That doesn’t look like a HONDA. It looks like a Chinese clone of a Honda Engine. Plus, what an impractical seat and handlebar position. If you want to see something cool, check out Motopeds.
Call me crazy ….. but I kind of like this . Granted all bets are this has all the comfort and rideability of a Spanish Inquisition torture device . But still … I like it
And yeah Clark K …. Moped Marauder Customs are the ticket 😉
How could the front & rear even track straight on this thing? Looks like a death trap
Certainly ready for $10/gallon gas prices…..

i’m unemployed. i’d love to work on low volume production of art that sells enough to secure a life of well-being. i’ll move to vietnam.
Looks kinda cool, I like the way the swingarm lines up with the cylinder. Sadly, Clark’s right about the engine-there are millions more 125cc Hondas than Honda ever made.
Exhaust will hit the rider where?
And it comes with the new “Invisi-Shift” Shift lever.

I like a bit of varnished wood on a bike.. like the Mule streettracker.
Mind you I had an old Yamaha 125cc years ago – that thing woodn’t go….
Not practical but very cool. I like it.
Yep that’s a numbnuts rider for sure!
But in the winter that exhaust will keep them warm and toasty!
Doubt it has a shifter. Probably uses the CVT tranny from monkey bikes.
$6,900 plus freight from Viet Nam? Wowsa!
…and from their website….
HOW DO I PURCHASE A MOTORCYCLE?
Easy. Each bike is made to order. To kick off the build, we expect the first 50% to be transferred to our HSBC account in Hong Kong or Ho Chi Minh City. All our clients are updated regularly with images of the production. Once the bike is complete, you can transfer the other 50% + shipping fees, and your Bandit9 will be on its way to your doorstep. Alternative payment methods can be discussed.
