Each Harley-Davidson CVO model is powered by a 110ci V-Twin engine, the largest-displacement Original Equipment engine offered by Harley-Davidson and only available from the factory in CVO motorcycles. All models are equipped with the Assist & Slip Clutch Pack that provides a slip feature on downshifts to reduce loading of the driveline, and hydraulic clutch actuation to reduce lever effort and maintenance. Harley-Davidson CVO models are factory-equipped with electronic cruise control, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), keyless ignition and the H-D Factory Security System, and an indoor/outdoor storage cover with the CVO logo.
2015 CVO Street Glide: It’s a challenge to create a super-premium audio system capable of both shocking volume and outstanding quality. Design that system and then mount it on a desirable factory-custom bagger, and you’ve got the 2015 CVO Street Glide. Four bi-amped front and rear three-way speakers. HD can’t compete on price now IMO.
Will still appeal huge to the people I know that buy them. Gorgeous bikes no matter what else. Massive power? That might be a bit of ad stretch…..never, ever in any HD ad have I seen them boast of how cheap there bikes were; so I think for most price is still moot.
Why has the V-Rod engine never been adapted to a touring version – even as a limited edition or prototype? Seems a shame not to use that engine for a touring application.
As for the V-Rod engine; I’m just guessing that it can’t easily be re-designed to move a 3/4 ton load in the somewhat lazy fashion the current big twins can
Still waiting for a wind cheating design on the V Rod. How about an upszed version of the racing screens from 45 years ago? They saved the Flathead for a few more years. Now ad LED headlights built in to maintain the aero. Fly like an eagle with rearsets (to play with the drag) AND cruise like a tourer with forward controls. BOTH on one bike.
Til they come up with a new fully liquid cooled engine, or go back to all air cooled, I will keep my 2010.This new one worries me. Besides, the colors have all sucked the past 5 yrs.
This is one of those situations that if you have to ask “how much”?
You really can’t afford one of them anyway ….

Just my thoughts, but why am I going to pay this kind of $$$$
and pay MORE for add-on’s, when I can buy an Indian model that has more
tech/toys, better looking and will out perform it’s CVO counterpart across the entire line ????
Pay less $$$$ and only have to add an exhaust system if anything at all ???
