Bikers Speed And Pop Wheelies. Make A Motorcycle Cop Leave The Scene…

A group of bikers, apparently members of the Streetfighterz, do stunts on a public highway in California. A motorcycle cop, siren and flashing lights on, intervenes to make them stop. One of the motorcyclists gets close to the officer and tell him he should better leave. And guess what? The cop leaves, the bikers wave him goodbye and continue to pop wheelies at high speed… But we don’t know the end of the story. Did the cop went ahead asking for a police road block or a spike strip on the highway, or? Or did the cop, ego torn, simply give up any intervention?

Cop bikes are incapable of staying with crotch rockets.

And the cop did hte right thing by backing off. I’ve seen some cops that can ride pretty damn good but they also need to know when to back off so the situation won’t become worse.

Cyril, aren’t you proud of yourself. This is what riding is all about. Real riders can ride how they want, where they want. Thank you for giving them a world wide stage.

Looks like the cop is at the head of it all clearing for the movie shoot and then given the all is clear to me !

Sorry Tom , but are you from another planet ? What is one of your family were involved in an accident with one of those lot , still clever then is it ?

  6. 6 USAYGO Oct 24th, 2014 at 11:14 am

These are the type of crotch rocket riders that make the V-Twin people look good.
And the V Twin people thank you, but what you are doing putting innocent people in danger is still wrong

    Phil S,
I guess you missed my cynicism.

  8. 8 bobx Oct 24th, 2014 at 11:28 am

im thinking tom was being sarcastic…

  9. 9 Buster Oct 24th, 2014 at 11:47 am

I agree this type of stuff is a bad deal , but what is more sad is that us motorcycle folks don’t band together and actually have some traction with universal issues. Just sayin’

    I call it Natural Selection

  11. 11 Patrick Oct 24th, 2014 at 3:47 pm

    Tom,
I got your cynicism, and Patrick is right, not a real cop. Check his bike out.

Try as I might, I just can not figure out what the following comment has to do with this video about azzholes on sportbikes, “Cop bikes are incapable of staying with crotch rockets.” I guess it belongs in the round file for stupid comments and/or consider the source!

  14. 14 Rodent Oct 24th, 2014 at 7:03 pm

Noneyabiz, I love the name almost as much as your mommy did when she named you.

  15. 15 fuji Oct 24th, 2014 at 9:23 pm

This is all wrong . Here you have a bunch of bad actors that should have the respect to at least wear leather vest and large boots and sport some hair on their face and not their ass.

Until these crazy crotch rocket riders came along I can’t remember any cruiser bikers having attitudes when riding.

Who the hell do they think they are destroying a long time image of motorcyclist.

Rumor has it that there has been a lot of trouble in a little town called Hollister and that a producer is wanting to make a movie of these kids. Soon everyone will start acting like the Hollister bunch riding fast and doing crazy things on crotch rockets.

  16. 16 Rodent Oct 24th, 2014 at 9:41 pm

Hollister has bad ass crotch rocket riders, since when? More grey beards than anything else!

Rodent; I’m pretty sure Fuji was being sarcastic.

There’s more to this story. The cop went ahead, called it in, then around 10 CHP vehicles shut down the freeway, caught the guys, impounded their bikes, then reopened the freeway. I don’t know if they will get their bikes back. Probably cost more in impound fees than they are worth.

No way was a CHP officer going to let this go after being dissed like that.

    Fuji,
    PERFECT
    Mike

  19. 19 pokergolf420 Oct 25th, 2014 at 11:31 am

The cops gave up and let them go. They said they weren’t putting the public in danger, only a danger to themselves.

  20. 20 Ray Shaft Oct 25th, 2014 at 11:34 am

Sorry Grady. You may want to act as you are the smarter guy in the class, but the CHP acknowledged it happened.

  21. 21 fuji Oct 25th, 2014 at 11:48 am

Rodent . Your home work today will be to reread and have a summary Monday morning.

  22. 22 BLAKE Oct 25th, 2014 at 12:02 pm

There not bikers, they give real bikers a bad name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  23. 23 B. D. Howard Oct 25th, 2014 at 12:46 pm

Blake, it’s ‘they’re not bikers’. And yes they are. It does not take a loud V-twin and an overweight bike to be a biker. It just takes a motorcycle and an attitude, and back in the day it was usually an anti-social attitude.

The cops in many regions ride BMW’s and other brands – bikes that offer lower maintenance, more longevity, and better performance than any pushrod V-twin can (no matter how many inches it displaces). Of course the cop called it in rather than risk his ass pursuing such a large group on his own.

In Canada, they would confiscate the bikes and they would not get them back, period. The comment about the value of the bikes vs. the cost of impoundment fees was ridiculous – the fees would be under a thousand bucks and none of those bikes was worth less than $3K (some may be worth as much as a hog).

It’s a shame that so many riders, including the crowd that visits here, is too young to remember back when so many riders had such attitudes instead of being poseurs like they are these days.

A mixed bag of reaction here…not sure what the “actual” deal was going on…theres more to the story here than we’re seeing…but the cop does appear to be pretty puny from this view…

  25. 25 Tussuck Oct 25th, 2014 at 7:01 pm

For goodness sake! This is America – so why did the cop back off….he should have just shot the little punks. No one would mourn for them.

  26. 26 fuji Oct 25th, 2014 at 7:48 pm

BLAKE. What’s your personal definition of a biker

  27. 27 grady pfeiffer Oct 26th, 2014 at 3:57 pm

OK Ray, I give in. The shot of the bike looked a little suspicious.

  28. 28 Big Phil Oct 26th, 2014 at 6:17 pm

When they did not obey his directions to pull over you think he would be justified to shoot at them. I would have emptied a clip on them and then called it in.

  29. 29 Curt Oct 27th, 2014 at 6:13 am

The police officer did the right thing by backing off for safety reasons. Hopefully they were able to get plate numbers and charge them with tickets.

  30. 30 Dave Oct 27th, 2014 at 10:21 am

You don’t reckon there’s a reason that there’s no traffic on that highway and even at high speeds, they never seem to catch up with the couple of vehicles ahead in the distance?

CHP acknowledges it happened this way? If this cop actually responded in this manner, he would no desk duty for a year!

  31. 31 Doug Oct 27th, 2014 at 1:09 pm

“StreetfighterZ”…cool!!! that was more sarcasm. The pitiful thing about these dorks is that they don’t get bored riding wheelies in a straight line & understand the bulk of people don’t care what they are doing and are not impressed.

There’s so much more challenging fun to be had on that style of bike.

  32. 32 Knucklehead Oct 28th, 2014 at 9:02 am

    Punks!

  33. 33 BCinSoCal Nov 19th, 2014 at 10:59 pm

    Have to agree with Grady…fake!
