Custom Harley Street 750

1harley-street-750An interesting custom Harley Street 750. In Mumbai, India, up-and-coming custom builder Vijay Singh owner of Rajputana Customs just introduced a customized version of the Harley Street 750. Named the “Brat Café Racer”, this one-off Street keeps the factory frame and engine configuration but in a simplified bodywork with the original instrument cluster forever gone. New fat tires required to use narrower wheels. Pretty $&#%ing sweet, I think. And you?

Good thing it doesn’t rain in India.

Pretty sweet, Great little platform. having ridden a 750 they have plenty of power for your average/beginning rider. I am definately curious though what power add-ons we will see in the future for this little bike, and hope we would see a Street 1000 in the future.

Pop. It rains a lot in India!

A shorter slip-on like the one from Firebrand exhaust would suit it better than that long OE pipe.

P., it rains a lot more if you got no fenders.

Kinda looks like a Rokon Trailblazer!

I like it too (except for the seat). BUT, always thought Vijay Singh was a great golfer and wouldn’t need to build bikes!

I have no idea why would want your brand new bike to look like $1500 used Honda but to each their own I suppose

No accounting for taste? If that is a radiator bolted to the frame behind the front wheel it may take some abuse without a front fender. “But anyway” maybe it’s some kind of custom part. ..Z

The right fork leg has a mount for a brake caliper. Why not add a 2nd caliper & disc. It would really help with the cows which commonly roam the street there.

    DinkyDot.

That’s the up side — making it look like a Honda.

The point being, Harley Davidson is coming full circle to meet Generation “change” and we know how Harley loyal detest change — similar to shrugging electric powered and three wheeled vehicles as being a motorcycle.

Nice looking piece. I always loved the fat tire look for the front of my bikes.

whaaaa! its got no fenders whaaaa! the seats to hard, whaaaa! it dont look like my geezerglide with the sweet airbrushed eagle on it. Notice its in the midst of being modified (nocalipers) its a great , inexpensive platform to start customizing. Maybe the begining of a new market in india.

I don’t like the fad of big front wheels, It adds weight and doesn’t look good. But it’s not my bike.

Nice looking little (remember when a 750 was a big bike ?) Hot Rod. Could use a bit more rear fender and less front tire. Vijay is a great golfer and a pretty fair bike builder!

What did they do with the rear suspension? Is it a monoshock conversion? Or am I missing something

    A little minimalist for me
But again if you like that sort of thing
Spend your $$$$ & more power to ya’ !!!
    Nuff Said !!!

@cafesportytc, 700cc, 600cc, and even 250cc motorcycles are the cats meow for around town, Anything bigger and it really needs to be on the highway or the race track. By the way, my last bike was over 1800cc. Way too big for a town bike.
