There are very few (& I mean Damn few) companies that can match up to S & S …
They have been the standard bearers in the past for V-Twin engines
& they continue that tradition to this day. if I had an H-D or was building a V-twin type bike
No better internals that S & S & that’s a fact !!!
Toured the factory in Viola, WI on a H.O.G. club ride. It’s in southwestern Wisconsin, very hilly, half-forested, half dairy farms, twisty roads, small towns. Very interesting to see how these things are made. Lot of artifacts. Business started in George Smith’s home basement in Illinois.
S&S Cycle Eqpt – that is what they painted on the side of the first company truck (a Ford F100). I saw the photo in the museum.
S&S sets the standard for high quality, performance and made in the USA, since 1958.
make mine S&S
We all should thank S&S for making a Harley a lot more fun, and showing the Factory how to build a motor.
Take a good look at those old pics.
Those are the type of people that made America the envy of the world.
Now the question is, have we been carrying on in that tradition or are we simply coasting on their work….???
(read a book lately?)
Just a thought.

S&S Rocks!
Looking forward to a replica Flathead!!
