The CV Performance Harley Fuel Inlet Elbow does two important jobs – it increases fuel flow by up to 40% when using a 5/16″ fuel line and it improves the fuel flow system integrity by replacing the stock plastic inlet with a solid brass unit.
It replaces the two-piece plastic item that come stock on CV and early Harley Keihin “butterfly” carbs. The plastic inlet can crack, leak or break as it hardens and gets brittle with age. This also means it is also nearly impossible to keep from damaging the stock unit when servicing the carburator.
Unlike other 2-piece design fuel inlets the CVP Fuel Inlet Elbow eliminates any possible leak issues and allows for use of a larger diameter 5/16″ fuel hose, providing the best connection for maximum fuel flow.
