If today young William Harley and Arthur Davidson were working from a garage in the Silicon Valley they could have created this Vintage Electric “E Tracker”, a board track racer inspired electric bike giving you a 30-mile range ride at a maximum speed of 36 mph after a 2-hour charge.
The sand cast v-twin shaped battery box is a great touch, as are the Brooks (established in 1866) handcrafted leather saddle and grips. Avid Mechanical the E-Tracker is equipped with Road S disc brakes to ensure great performance and ease of maintenance. Regenerative braking will not only slow you down abut also recoup the energy that is often wasted in brake use. Charging is via a 6 amp, fast charging electrical component turning any standard wall socket into a source of 30 miles of enjoyment in just 2 hours of charge time. With the flip of a switch its compatible for 220 or 110 volt outlets. A gorgeous e-bike. $4995. At Vintage Electric Bikes.
Very cool looking. Expensive like all e-bikes.
This is very close to something I’d buy. I’m just not that big of a fan of manufactured “vintageness”. Show me an e-bike that specs like this one, but is a present day mountain or hybrid style bike and I’m there.
In its category, the best I have seen until now.
Neat! And it’s about as expensive as a commuter motorcycle.
That is a good looking e-bike for sure but the cost seems a bit much. Many people who buy these e-bikes do so to save money on transportation.

Economical, durable & priced right.
Beautiful bikes! Clearly a well made high quality machine. I’d like to know what the weight is. Even though it has flat resistant tires; I’d still want to install the semi-solid tubes that can’t go flat. I recently did that to a mountain bike. I’d also like to see this in a mountain bike design with front and rear shocks but with the same level of quality.
I didn’t see any of the riders in the videos pedaling the bike. When I was a kid there were these 3 speed rear hubs that looked like a single speed but was 3. Something like that would be great; especially for off road use on a fully shocked bike and if the battery died.
Brian D: Those Watseka bikes look promising too. The front basket would have to go though and some kind of backbone bar to make it look like a guy bike would be needed too. Even if it wasn’t functional.
Here is another nicely built e-bike

Great presentation…represents the idea, planning, design and build stages. Their philosophical approach is very insightful. Best of all… The remark that designed obsolescence is “Total Bullshit” Is most profound and telling.

Spot on.

WOW!
I am impressed. People making stuff again – there is hope for this planet…
Great concept. VE do not build the frames, FELT came out with this frame and forks coupe years
back. Other than the casted battery housing, these bikes are built with off the shelf products. Price is decent for a 52V LiPo battery. Making and building are two entirely different genres.
Thumbs way up.
It need at least front suspension, but otherwise I love it
