With this new Sportster Clubman Handlebar (P/N 55800341 Chrome, P/N 55800342 Satin Black; $199.95) from Harley-Davidson you give your Sportster some classic cafe racer style. Going to race or not, you will lie low like a ton-up rider. Designed to replicate a classic café racer handlebar, this one-inch diameter Clubman Handlebar is 30.75 inches wide and positions the hands three inches lower than the stock handlebar.
With the grips below the top triple tree, the rider is placed in an aggressive, tank-hugging position. The Clubman Bar can also be rotated forward to create an arms-out stance. The bar accommodates internal wiring. Switch wires drop out below the handlebar clamp and into the opening in the top triple tree for a clean look. The Clubman Handlebar fits 2010-later Sportster models (except the 2011-later SuperLow® model). Installation requires the separate purchase of additional components. See an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer for fitment details. For more information, visit Harley-Davidson.
Boy are those bars butt ugly. How about using genuine clipons which may cost a few bucks more but look 1000% better.
These bars will not but a HIT but a MISS,
What a design mistake!
There are nice clubman bars out there. And for the unwashed, they WERE used on cafe bikes Burly Brand makes a nice set for Sportsters that look way better and cost $60 less.
These things? Might as well take your stock bars and turn them upside down, It would probably look better.
Why would someone pay H-D $200 when you could get US made clubman bars from Amazon for less than $100?
Every chiropractor in the country is rubbing his/her hands in glee over all the business these bars will be bringing them
A friend got the Burly Cafe bars. Much nicer.
