Machined in Switzerland out of EN/6028 aluminium , this pegs weight only 0,2477 lbs (111 grams), coincidently the same weight as a (swiss) chocolate bar, but 5000 times stronger with a static load of 1102.295lbs (500kg)
Danny from Hard 9 Choppers explains: “I was riding motocross and freestyle motocross for 20 years. The moto cross pegs are small to control the brake and shifter. The freestyle motocross pegs are wider for a proper landing and to minimize the risk of breaking an ankle. The harley industry adopted wide the wide version because they look cool but as a matter of fact they make shifting and braking more difficult. In addition they are very heavy, made of steel or cast aluminum.”
These high end pegs cost twice more to produce than the steel or cast versions. So, price is still to be announced. But it will be Swiss quality. At Hard 9 Choppers.
Look like stock pegs from a Bulaco Persang.

Will little Danny be making these from the back of his father’s paint store where he mixes paint all day?
Well, the Burly MX Style Pegs cost about 150 Euro in Europe…so it will be very interesting what a price H9 rocks….And don’t forget, watch your shins when ranking your bike with such ripper-pegs on it!
