Triumph Motorcycles America based in Atlanta, Georgia and its dealer partners had a tremendous month as they set a new, all-time record for motorcycle unit retail sales for the month of September in North America. Retail sales records were set both by U.S. and Canadian dealers, selling 1,063 and 103 motorcycles, respectively, eclipsing the previous September mark established last year.
“The hard work and commitment of our retailers made September a big month for Triumph in North America,” said Matt Sheahan, COO of Triumph Motorcycles America. “The Triumph brand has never been stronger, and we are looking forward to making some really exciting announcements later this month at our Global Dealer Conference in London to continue to build on this momentum.”
Triumph also announced an extension of the Endless Summer program. In the U.S., buyers of new, select Triumph motorcycles can choose between a special financing offer or receive up to $2,500 back in the form of Triumph vouchers. These vouchers are redeemable in Triumph dealerships or at Shop Triumph Motorcycles. I’d like to think I helped with that, but I did not purchase mine until yesterday. Maybe October will be a great month as well. I got the Danny Eslick Daytona 675R, and I still can’t wipe the grin off my face…

Uh, the shifter is on the left side as mandated for every bike sold in the US since 1974, genius.
Triumph is getting it right for sure. They have advanced more than any other major brand in the world in the last ten years, and even during the severe economic downturn between 2008-2010 when all the other big manufacturers were losing their asses – Triumph actually increased their sales each of those years.
You can hate all you want, but you can’t argue with success.
*and for the record, I don’t own a Triumph, so I’m not blowing their horn just because I have one.
triumphs are an amazing marque and did they really ever completely stop manufacturing, there was always something being thrown together most years.

Powersports Business just announced the latest industry market share figures:
– Triumph 2%
– Piaggio 2% (and they don’t even have a dealer network!)
– BMW 4%
-Ducati 3%
-Can Am 2% so they are selling as many of these goofy three wheelers as Triumph is for their 20 plus “models”…which are really just variations of the same core bikes.
Somehow these facts were left out of the press release haha

Almost all of the Triumph dealers in America took a serious hit from Triumph on their Auto-Stock program and majority was selling every one of their 2013-14 Triumph Motorcycles at Dealers cost or lower!
What consumer wouldn’t buy a bike when its that dirt cheap?
Can anyone one officially answer that question? How much profit was made on total Triumph bikes sold? I bet its absolutely shocking if we knew the answer!!!!!!!
