The Brake Master Cylinder Bleeding Solution By JIMS®

JimsBleederBleeding the brakes from air. Easy or a pain… JIMS® Master Cylinder Bleeding Solution is designed to allow the technician to draw a vacuum on the hydraulic system.

This is accomplished by using specially designed lids with an air fitting which, when connected to a vacuum bleeder, pulls air out of the hydraulic system.

The lids are intentionally made clear to enable the technician to see bubbles bleeding from the brake fluid.  When the bubbles cease, the hydraulic system is bled.

JIMS® offers 5 different lids that fit many Harley-Davidson models.  No. 5503 is the master kit which contains all 5 bleeder lids in a storage case. It has a MSRP of $235.00. Individual kits are available for those who want a specific bleeder lid.  Individual kits have a MSRP of $49.00.  JIMS® brake bleeding lids are designed to be used with an air powered vacuum bleeder (sold separately). For more info, contact sales@jimsusa.com or visit Jims USA or call (805) 482-6913.

A lot of people don’t know how to bleed brakes the right way. Will help them.

Wait what? So are you drawing fluid out of the lid while pumping fluid through the bleeder screw or vice versa?

According from what I am reading you are doing a reverse bleed since you want to see bubbles coming out of the resevior

I like my Harbor freight vacuum bleeder version a lot better.

we use a super vac in the shop but it goes against air bubbles wanting to rise..this is the proper way..hook up fresh fluid to the bleeder and suck bubbles out from the top..bravo. just ordered a set..anything that makes my tech’s days easier and quicker and more accurate is worth spending money on..you should check out their genius fork fluid machine!!! pays for itself in first use!

I don’t think everyone is getting the concept here. its not like “reverse” bleeding or “back” bleeding. the system stays contained or closed while bleeding. you are creating a vacuum in the system. the fluid doesn’t touch the lid there is a air gap so it does not pull any fluid out of the system just the air. then again I may be wrong and don’t know how to read….
