Rider And Sponsors Wanted To Reclaim World Motorcycle Land Speed Record

1bubFormally known as the Bub 7 Streamliner, a motorcycle that set in 2009 on the Bonneville Salt Flats the all time world Land Speed Record with a two-way average speed of 367.382 mph, this exceptional machine could reclaim its title with the right pilot and sponsors.

2bub3bubThe number 7 is tunnel tested with tires tested to 50 mph. Proven crew led by AMA Hall Of Fame Debis Manning is available to assist. Serious inquiries only. Contact Denis Manning on my behalf.

    Trust me I get it ! Both the call for riders and sponsors . But in reality what with the ‘ Salt ‘ all but done and gone for use as a LSR venue exactly where does Mr Manning think the event can ever be held in order to reclaim that record ?

    I’m hoping there’s a typo, and the tires were tested to a bit higher than 50 mph!

    So…how much do it get if I ride this puppy?

    Aloha Terry….that depends on how much the sponsor you bring to the table is willing to pay.

    Keep trying, I say.
    Contact us at Dimple Products, we would like to extend/donate our Super Magnetic Oil plugs and a K&P engineering oil filter for the project.

    Clean particle free oil would be one less thing to worry about when you are ready!

    The Loring AFB, (retired B1 Bomber Base) at the top of Maine, is probably the last LSR Venue, that doesn’t have potholes. It might have some Frost & Light Snow in Sept. Dave & Jody Perewitz have been there several times!

    @Boston jim
    Yes Loring is an EXCELLENT track! We would love to see more land speed racers up there, including Denis Manning!

    The East Coast Timing Assn uses a runway in Wilmington Oh, but I am pretty sure it is much too short to get the full potential out of this beast, which I got to examine closely right after Chris Carr set the record with it. They had it on display at the vintage festival at Barbers. Dennis and company are very approachable and friendly. Just a bunch of gear head bikers like us.

    Denis certainly has the knowledge to take the record….again..

    Agree with Hillbilly Jim !!!

    Hope they are able to run the racer again !!!

    Having met and talked in length to Denis Manning I can say he is a real approachable great guy who can in fact get the Bub 7 to beat the record again especially if you can get another Chris Carr to ride it!
