Past Brewing Company, established in 1844, and whose Pabst Blue Ribbon beer sales are experiencing a revival after a 2 decade-long slump, got the good idea to ask Brandon Holstein of The Speed Merchant to build a custom bike to benefit Operation Homefront and military families during the month of May, Military Appreciation Month.
Starting today, the bike is auctioned Here On eBay with an opening bid price of $1.00 for a custom motorcycle valued of $25,000.00, It will be sold to the highest bidder. Pabst Bewing Company will match the sale price of the bike, with all of the proceeds plus the match being donated. To bid, go to Pabst Blue Ribbon.
“When PBR came to me with the idea of building a custom motorcycle that would benefit military families, I was honored and excited,” said Holstein. “I have friends and family who have served, or are serving, in the military, so I wanted to build something that represented their strength and fortitude. The end result is what you see here, a full custom, bare bones, little hot rod. It’s a one of a kind motorcycle that will put a smile on the face of whoever wins it.”
“Operation Homefront is proud to partner with Pabst Blue Ribbon in supporting our military families,” said Brig Gen (retired) Robert Thomas, chief operating officer for Operation Homefront. “Their support helps us fund programs that build strong, stable, and secure military families, so that they can thrive –not simply get by – in the communities they’ve worked so hard to protect.” Every day, the families of our nation’s active duty, wounded warriors and veterans show their unwavering commitment to support and protect our communities. During Military Appreciation Month (May), Operation Homefront recognizes our military families and thanks them for their service. Join us and help honor those who have served and are continuing to serve our communities across the country.”

That’s a great looking bike. My back couldn’t do rigid, but I sure love the front end/fairing and the upswept exhaust.
I’m curious what triple trees those are? Bagger dual disk front end with those radial mount calipers, sick.
The vintage look will never go out of style.
Not as long as there are still people who understand and honor the Legacy.

Other than the built engine; this would have been considered a budget build back in the day. Times and perception change I guess. Not knocking the bike. Looks like it would be a fun bike on decent roads… just sayin’…
Unlike the pipes in the story right above this one, those pipes actually flow with the bike. Very nice.
PBR, brings back memories of me stealing my Pop’s beer out of his shop frig.
Sweet ride!! But 25k?
Très belle bécane!
