2016 Sturgis Commemorative Painting By David Uhl

daviduhlsturgis2016Since 2005, artist David Uhl has created each year a special piece to commemorate the Sturgis rally.  This year’s piece, titled “Badlands”, displays David’s mastery in painting a bike’s patina.  The composition and style is reminiscent of his earlier Sturgis piece called ”Once Upon a Time”. As always David’s pieces look so much nicer in person than on email or website. This piece is no exception.

Uhf’s studio is now taking orders for David’s hand-signed, numbered, canvas giclee prints.  Beautifully framed with a commemorative plaque of Sturgis. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.  Matching numbers are available for those who want to add this to their existing Sturgis Commemorative Collection.  Edition numbers will be assigned as orders are taken, so you are encouraged to act quickly.  These will begin shipping immediately after the rally.

Similar to past Sturgis pieces, the edition’s special Rally prices are available only through the end of this year’s rally (August 14, 2016). Specifics: “Regular” – image size appx 20 x 26.5, framed price $895. “Jumbo” – image size appx 30 x 40, framed price $1,895. Shipping is included within the contiguous 48 United States through August 14th.  To view David’s previous Sturgis pieces, go to David Uhl Sturgis Collection. To place your order, simply respond to Greg Rhodes or call 303-913-4840. As always, Uhl’s gallery will be at The Gold Dust Casino in Deadwood starting July 30.  Stop by if you’ll be attending the rally!
