gentlemenride1gentlemenride2Since 2013, this international event of classic and vintage styled motorcycles is that raising awareness and funds for the “November Foundation’s” men’s health programs. On Sunday September 25th, more than 50,000 dapper riders in over 500 cities across 90 countries will unite for the world’s largest motorcycling charity event. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia by Mark Hawwa and inspired by a photo of Mad Men’s Don Draper on a classic bike and wearing his finest suit.

It was decided that a theme ride would be a great way together the classic and vintage styled motorcycle community. In keeping with the classic lines of Don Draper’s 1957 Matchless G3LS, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a niche charity event held upon the last Sunday in September with gentlefolk riding their Cafe’ Racer, Bobber, Classic, Tracker, Scrambler, Old School Chopper, Modern Classic, Sidecar, Classic Scooter, Brat Styled motorcycles to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health programs.

In 2015, over 37,000 participants in 410 cities in 79 countries raised over $2.3M (US) for prostate cancer research. In the US distinguished riders will meet in Florida, at the Naples City Dock, 801 12th Avenue South, Naples at 11.30 am.
