Fourth Annual American International Motorcycle Expo Headlined By Hundreds of Exhibitors (Part 2)

00unionspeed0unionspeedAs AIMExpo 2016 headed into the weekend, the focus of the show transitioned from trade to consumer, giving the public its very first chance to see all the new products coming to the marketplace. The doors to the exhibitor floor at the Orange County Convention Center opened to thousands of enthusiasts on Saturday and Sunday, eagerly awaiting what the nearly 500 exhibiting companies had to offer.

000unionspeedThe section dedicated to “Made In America” and to the AIMExpo Championship of the Americas was of course a big attraction for those with a passion for custom motorcycles. The world class builders were competing to win a free trip to the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building at the Intermot international motorcycle fair in Cologne, Germany in the fall of 2018.

And the winner is Jordan Dickinson from Union Speed And Style, in Monticello, MN with a 93“ Harley Knucklehead with generator cut off, cases reshaped, high compression pistons and hot cam in a one-off hand built frame. Below other views from the 2016 AIMExpo.

Way to go Jordan! Its been so neat seeing you perfect your craft over the years – constantly raising your own bar to a new level. The accolades are much deserved. Enjoy your trip to Germany. You’ve earned it my friend!
