Combining the subtle contrast of gloss and satin black powder coat, the new Black Edition from S&S Cycle is great option to those wishing to replace their dull factory motor with a powerplant that looks great and makes substantial power.
Engines are available for most 1984-2017 Harley-Davidson® big twins in V111, T111, T124 and T143 cubic inch displacements.

Great option. Much better and cheaper than that to do it after buying a wrinkled black or silver finish motor. I did it: disassembly, polishing, coating, re-assembling A pain and costing a fortune. Should sell fast.
Beautiful!
Pretty motors. I have to check out this financing stuff with my dealer in St Louis.
How I match the gloss black on my Evo tranny? S&S doing the job?
$6795 for the 124″ in gloss black is a good deal.
Sweet deal….sign me up…
Beautiful!
A Chevy 350 HO crate engine is $6375….this is a turn key motor, pan to carb and all accessories.
How is this $6800? Not a knock on S&S….I know they make great stuff, just asking.
It’s all about the volume. Thousands of robot machined engines has a way of reducing cost. We hand build ours one at a time.
S&S, just to be clear my previous post was not meant to be negative and maybe a little research on my part would have been in order.
Sweet
And

S&S, perhaps you should get some robots?
Chris Selma the cases are still a wrinkle black finish to match your trans, open your eyes man !
Are the parts all made in the USA?
Great motor!
Yes sir, entirely made in the USA.
nice stuff but i’m holdin’ out for the 169″
I was never much moved, by the post-’08-crash’s blacked-out dark ages, but this may well be the most beautiful treatment of the S&S motor. The exposed fin tips look sublime – as in Goldilocks…
very nice !!! Can’t go wrong with an S&S motor ……………
Yeah ,I certainly agree with Rubs statement . Can’t go wrong with the SAndS motor .I have a117 cubic inch.Iam loving that power between my legs.
nice motor
Getting mine in, can’t wait. The power difference should make me feel like a kid again. The rush of new power over my 80″ with just a cam and jet job will be great now that I’m out of LA.
handmade the only way…..keep up the good work s&s…….
