World Record Attempt On Mini Bikes By Kevin Bean’re And Tim Ford

It was last Sunday morning at 8 a.m. Kevin Bean’re and Tim ford dressed in Blues Brothers suits paused for a few pictures, then rolled down a deserted Daytona Main Street to attempt a World Record on stock 50cc Yamaha mini bikes, riding from Daytona Beach, Florida to San Diego, California. No chase vehicle! Just will power.

The event is to benefit the Aidan Seeger Foundation created after very young Aidan lost its short battle against Adrenoleukodystrophy. For this purpose, Kevin Bean’re and Tim ford started to sell raffle tickets during all Bike week and will continue to do it at each leg toward San Diego. Among gifts offered, artist David Uhl has graciously donated one of his signed prints of “The Iron Horse Heist” valued at over 3000 dollars. Other raffle gifts, and a Biltwell helmet hand painted by Darren McKeag.

At the start, the duo knew only the first 3 days of their across country trip. On March 20th at 5.30 p.m. they will have a fundraiser party at Accurate Engineering host by Berry Wardlaw in Dolthan, Alabama. On March 23rd at 5:30 p.m. they will host another fundraiser at the Dorchester Historical Association Museum in Minden, Louisiana. On Sunday, March 26, they should arrive at Rick Fairless Strokers in Dallas Texas, all day long raising money for Aidan. Update will be posted HERE.

A genuine moment of silliness which with this current mess we’re in is a well needed distraction . So I’ll 2nd the motion by saying ; Keep the shiny side up and the rubber on the road . And perhaps more importantly for the love of all things eccentric ; Have a heck of a good time !

There’s a dude. Faced with tragedy he still finished re-manufacturing a set of V-Twin knuckle cylinder heads that had the rocker shafts reversed, and then converted the big nuts intake manifold to O-ring intake. There needs to be more people on earth like Berry Wardlaw – excellence in mechanical engineering. And yeah, he also milled fin reliefs in a pre-58 set of OEM pan heads so the timer could be removed without removing the heads.
Barry Wardlaw should be inducted into the motorcycle hall of fame. Glad to see him BACK!

Happy trails on the road – watch out for potholes on those puddle jumpers! 🙂

    So who was Aiden Seeger?

  7. 7 bean're Mar 22nd, 2017 at 7:37 am

Aidan Jack Seeger was a beautiful young blue eyed 6 year old that came down with a terrible rare disease and unfortunately lost his life to it about 6 months later. His parents have dedicated their lives to promote awareness of Adrenoleukodystrophy, also called ALD, and pushing for legislation to require mandatory test for all newborns so this can be avoided it other boys lives. You can learn more about it at http://www.Aidanhasaposse.org

IJ, 100% of money raised goes to The Aidan Jack Seeger Foundation. Myself and Tim Ford are using our own money with the help of a few sponsors ( Biltwell, Spectro Oil and The Uncle Buddy Crew) to do this but if you would like to pay me, I ask that you donate to the cause instead.
