Blackberry Smoke rules.
Kudos to the Chip for some entertainers that are not AARP members!
We need to be sowing the seeds for the generations to come!!
Blackberry Smoke is awesome…They should be headlining seeing that Skynyrd is “lil’ more than a tribute band” with (1), that’s singular…one original member? wow.
Shinedown are an amazing live band and very talented musicians…lot of energy!
Blink 182 back on the road, and while Tom DeLonge is no longer part of the equation, they still 2/3 strong!
Alter Bridge? Myles Kennedy might be one of THE best vocalists on the circuit today, bar none. Mark Tremonti & the band very tight as well. Great addition, good job.
Cheers for booking NEWER MUSIC!!!!!!!
Imagine…I am over 50 and listen to the same music as my son in his early 20’s!
Gotta agree with what PBR said above about Skynard. Go to youtube and check out their shows in Oakland in ’77, their appearance on Rockpalast (Euro TV show) in ’74, or on the BBC in ’75.
There’s also a good show they put on at Knebworth (England) in’76, but the audio is poorly synched to the video so it’s hard to watch…
These are all live concerts featuring the original lineup of Lynard Skynard. They happened long ago, but they are the real thing, not some replica.
Don’t know why so many performances of great American musicians of the past were preserved in Europe, not so much here.
