I am lucky enough to know most of the best motorcycle artists around this world and I must say that very few have such artistic ability and sincerity as David Uhl when he expresses his love for vintage motorcycles through oil on canvas paintings. But as well known as he can be among his fellow artists and in the motorcycle world, very few know that the “Harley-Davidson Norman Rockwell” is also a very fine watercolorist portraying those who illustrate and re-define today’s old school motorcycling scene. And I am happy to report that David will join his world’s best fellow watercolorists in an exhibition “American Realism. A Survey” in New York City from May 18 to June 16, 2017 at the Gerald Peters Gallery, 4 East 78th Street New York, NY 10075. Tel 212.628.9760. His pieces featured here and others will be displayed, but not for sale during the exhibition. See you there…

No paintings of bikes?
I’m old school and don’t remember all the beards. I guess I’m so old I don’t recall.
I’m old and have a beard, but the “Scruffy” beard look kind of surprised me!
Like it couldn’t be realism or vintage without the beards.
Not seeing all of his offerings makes me wonder if any of them are clean shaven?
But to be fair, the pictures do have a lot of charisma look!
I would buy one or at least a copy!
