Idolized the Marman from the first day I saw it on the floor of a Western Auto store in Ensley, Al in 1949.
This beauty was the thing from which dreams were made. This machine was every boy’s post WWII ticket to freedom, manhood and independence. Herbert ‘Zeppo’ Marx deserves great credit for his vision in anticipating the need for such a versatile machine. The Marman is proof that inexpensive transportation can be beautiful.
