Harley-Davidson Declares Third Quarter Dividend. The Harley-Davidson, Inc. (NYSE: HOG) Board of Directors has approved a cash dividend of $0.365 per share for the third quarter of 2017. The dividend is payable Sept. 22, 2017 to the shareholders of record of the Company’s common stock as of Sept. 12, 2017.

Sugar Bear To Open Chopper Museum Outside Sturgis. The Sugar Bear Chopper Museum will celebrate and preserve chopper culture and its vital role in the American custom motorcycle scene. Sugar Bear’s extended forks are famous for having no flop, no pogoing, and for providing a ride quality comparable to motorcycles with low rake. The Sugar Bear Chopprr Museum, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, will request donations from Chopper lovers. “Our goal is to gather, educate, and celebrate those machines and those who have dedicated their lives to creating them.” says Sugar Bear. The Sugar Bear Chopper Museum intends to be a destination during the annual Sturgis Rally with different exhibitions of Choppers and a selection of vendors serving this segment of the custom motorcycle industry.

Exotic Italian Bike Maker Bimota Closed Its Factory. Bimota produced very wild high tech bikes featuring a front swingarm and hub steering. Bimota has finally shuttered its factory in Giaccaglia, Italy after a fairly arduous history of financial ups and down. That doesn’t mean the Bimota brand will cease to exist. The company states that it will support current owners.
