Cyril Huze Post Interrupted By Hurricane Irma

Palm Beach County. 09-10-17. 8.30 am. In 11 years, my daily news website has never been interrupted by any event, even hurricanes crossing my state of Florida. But here comes category 4 Irma entering Florida with winds up to 165 mph and gusts up to 205 mph. At this time, we still have electricity and a Wi-Fi connection. But we have been warned, not for a long time… So, apology in advance for not being able to update my site as usual if destruction and flooding happen to be as heavy and geographically extended as predicted by meteo experts.

Video: shot at home 09/10/17 4 pm EST. Irma is still 85 miles away. Have a thought for all those affected by hurricane Irma.

Palm Beach County 09/11/17. 10.30 am. We new safe with no material damage. Back online as soon as we get back power (half of Floridians are still without electricity)

Hang tight Cyril. I wish you the best while this storm passes. Hopefully, you will be back in no time, but if you’re not I understand completely.

There are a lot of Florida folks taking shelter here in Alabama while this thing passes.
Talked to a guy and his wife with their new born daughter yesterday at the local Harley dealer.
They fear they have lost everything (home, bikes, possession etc) with no flood insurance.
We should all pitch in however we can and help these folks in Florida and Texas. Also note: no mass looting as seen with Katrina. Good folks. Bad break.

I live in Daytona about 8 miles inland. Nothing big happened here. A few trees blew down in our neighborhood. The beachside crowd didn’t fare well at all. Big time flooding.
