Holy mackerel that’s 10 new models
I’m sensing a pattern here.
Like putting earrings on a pig
Having options for paint colors is good.
New paint = limited edition custom. I agree with Boomer.
Yup, going down the MoCo’s road of new “models” by swapping a few items or changing the color. Stop it would you?
roland’s mescalero indian chopper raises the dark specter of the difficulty in building a good looking custom indian chopper. ecm’s drive by wire aside, the fugly engines of both chief and scout make framing them in a work of art a bit of chore. how will this “ease of customizing” impact long haul popularity? perhaps it was just dumb luck that H-D’s engines and proportions beckoned good customizing and thus turned it into an icon.
They should have named these colors Elmo Red, Big Bird Yellow, Cookie Monster Blue, Ernie Orange and Oscar the Grouch Green. :-p
On a positive note, the more options for the consumer the better !!!
Whilst I may not like yellow, it’s great to see something other than boring black or worse the boring blackout treatment. It’s always good to give customers a choice, full marks to Indian.
all iz icky
These colors are the best way to make the Indian brand lose its class, Very tacky.
So let me get this straight, the five “new” and “exclusive” paint options are Yellow, Blue, Orange, Smoke (Gray) and Black. Very innovative! Polaris up to its old tricks. They better buy Royal Enfield so they can start over again after they destroy Indian the same way they three Victory under the bus.
Those are pretty colours. Or, those are very nice photos of regular colours.
I guess if you live in the land of “look At Me”
Some of those colors would be … liked
HD likes horrid color schemes, did Indian need to follow their lead ???
What a bunch of wimpy ass binky suckers complain, complain !
Polaris must want to lose money by doing what Harley does! Fugly colors too!
Oh wow new colours
Following the Victory trend of new colours make a new model….how long becore Foolaris drop the Injun I wonder….
Oh and we need more leather tassels too!
All of those paint colors were once used on different Victory’s – Jackpot, Kingpin, Judge, Vision, XCountry. Polaris had paint leftover now that none of those are being made.
Hehe. It’s hard to imagine what people pissed off by the existence of paint options did before the internet. 😉
Good on Palaris for offering more factory paint colors. The more options the better. It isn’t Indians first ever though. DuPont owned Indian which Indian offered many factory custom colors plus for a few bucks more you could have your Indian painted any color as long as the color was in the DuPont color registry. That’s another reason Indians were so beautiful.
that is almost enough colors that People might forget what year your bike is………
Ahem, appears there might well be a different color available for each Polaris Scout, sold in 2018…
you can put big tires on a pinto but don’t make it a 4×4
Not sure they put any effort into those Scout colors, but the Roadmaster choices look pretty sharp.
Certainly not enough to get me to buy one, though.
Hey, new colours are just new colours. No need for this “lipstick (or earrings) on a pig” stuff; Scouts are good motorcycles. Having said that, I do agree with Eric that the Roadmaster colours look better. But then Indian makes a lot more money out of a Roadmaster than a Scout, so it’s worth putting more expensive paint on them.
I wanna like the Scout but just can’t stomach that humongous, ginormous truck radiator. There’s no way I could own it as that’s all I see when I look at that bike. YECH!!
