The Morgan 3 electric has a large price tag for such inadequate specifications. It is inadequate.

Electric vehicles were a bad joke a hundred or more years ago, and now they are a really expensive bad joke, today. 120 mile range, then how many hours charging?
I really like the look and style. The electric technology is just not there yet. if you enjoy driving the vehicle, your going to always be looking at the battery capacity gauge and for a plug-in facility!
What is not published about electric vehicles is the exorbitant cost of repairs and replacement of the electric motor and or the battery, they are high enough to cause the owner of such a vehicle to lose all of the value of their vehicle if they cannot afford to pay the repair or replacement costs! This is why electric vehicles are only a rich persons eco-friendly status toy!
All that said about electric vehicles I’ve seen a few of these Morgan’s in person out and about with the v twin and there pretty nice as far as carsicicles go I’m sure there pricey but they look good compared to the other 3 wheel things,
Golf clubs fit fine in the passenger seat, I hope.

Looks interesting, I would prefer a wheel and tire package that handles. Gotta laugh at all the insecurity about anything new from “tough” bikers.

It’s STILL a car!
Anyone checked on the cost to replace a modern gas engine in let’s say a BMW or Mercedes lately? Ever do a trip when you couldn’t find a gas station and you prayed to the God of the Gas Gauge? Get used to the idea that gasoline is being phased out and thank all those who paid for the technology up front. This isn’t a trend this is the future.
Sounds like some people’s “vision” of the future involves a VERY long extension cord, or NOT going out of town.

A rather beautiful vehicle to ride and drive but unfortunately its for the rich and famous people. I love all transportation vehicles, much like Jay Leno, I just can’t afford the prices. I say to those who can purchase one keep it.

What I find most noteworthy is zero prices anywhere on the Morgan website for any of their cars. Sorry; this has a steering wheel not handlebars. I like it but it is what it is. I do like the S&S engine that powers it too.
While electric cars are no doubt the future, I don’t care fore folks trying to sell them ahead of time. You can’t have electric cars with the current (no pun intended) battery technology, and you don’t need production vehicle volume to do the testing. When electric vehicles are competitive considering everything from initial cost and pollution, performance, cost to keep and use, etc, they won’t need tax subsidies or perks, folks will seek them out and buy them.
