Kuryakyn New Collection Of Finned Covers For Harley-Davidson Models

Finned covers belong to the beginning of the custom culture and since then have always remained popular with bikers. This new complete line of covers and accents delivers a clean, old school aesthetic to areas of the engine, outer primary and transmission, among others.

Available for a wide variety of Harley-Davidson® Twin Cam® and Milwaukee-Eight® models, the Finned Collection is designed to easily alter stock styling in a matter of minutes. The lineup includes groups of components that give end users the freedom of targeting one or more specific areas to customize.

Focus areas include the outer primary where Finned Derby Covers can be combined with assorted model-specific primary accents to completely transform the stock appearance. Other components include Finned Timing Covers, Spark Plug Covers, Transmission and Starter Accents, as well as Passenger Floorboard Covers.

All Finned components are cast from quality A380 aluminum with raised horizontal lines that mimic the traditional cylinder fins for a uniform look throughout. Finish options include polished chrome, or satin black with machined fins for a contrasting raw metal appearance. To view more covers and to order go to: Kuryakyn Finned Covers.

Somebody saw the amazing bikes coming out of Conquest Customs in FL. He’s been doing these for years.

Brought to you by the people who just filed for bankruptcy protection for $300 MILLION worth of debt. Apparently they also ran out of cool ideas.

“Sir, it’s Napoleon Solo on channel D. It seems Illya Kuryakyn is doing something quite strange again.”

Aren’t they rolled into the MAG Bankruptcy ?

I know the few items I purchased were junk! I do not give them the courtesy to even view their merchandise when seen at rally…much less online! And that is bad.

    Hey BOSS HAWG,

Do the Kuryakin guys sleep on your mattresses when at a Rally or why do you think they would care about you showing up at their truck??

  14. 14 BOSS HAWG Feb 15th, 2018 at 6:10 pm

    @ Steve K.

Good question Steve since they are in many higher end hotels here…but you probably do not know that nor have had the pleasure. As for showing up at their truck…haven’t done that in many many years and have no interest in doing so this Bikeweek or Biketoberfest either! I choose to call it history!

FYI…I like to frequent those that make a quality product and pay their bills…this gets my attention. How about you ?

Steve surely you know cheap isn’t good and good isn’t cheap! Enjoy and ride safe.

Mmmmm…not bad lookin for stickems……at least in the pics. Remains to be seen what they look like for real. I assume they’re made of plastic also…But I agree the aftermarket seems to have run out of new ideas……

Not sure that I get the vitriol about the styling. Sure it’s been done before but isn’t that kinda the point? Retro styled accents for retro styled bikes. Who would have thunk? 😉

  19. 19 Chris Feb 16th, 2018 at 8:55 am

    anything for an Indian?

  20. 20 Guzzigreg Feb 16th, 2018 at 9:39 am

Funny that the HD guys are down on retro!

I don’t normally take time to comment considering the amount of BS I see on these threads, but for those who don’t know, Kuryakyn has actually stepped up their game over the past few years. Especially when it comes to quality. The old regime that was running the brand into the ground has all moved on to form Ciro… basically a Kuryakyn carbon copy circa 5-10 years ago. Kuryakyn product development and quality is far beyond what it was.

Harley offers a limited number of finned covers, so it’s not a bad thing to have more options. These are made of cast aluminum, not plastic. The covers that stick-on do that out of necessity (they fill recessed areas that don’t have an existing screwed-on cover).

Tres belles pièces élégantes et sobres.

    @ Steve K

Quite the contrary Steve, I am privileged and blessed to be loved by those that know me !
