Posers will clamour for these fake bits. Remember the Xzotic Pan covers for Evos? I was walking down Main St in Sturgis a few years back and there was a bike with a fake Pan cover on the rear cylinder and a fake Shovel one on the front. A group of guys in squeaky chaps and badged and patched up new vests were standing around it admiring it breathlessly, and working out that the guy must have “spliced a Pan and Shovel engine together” and “that’s some amazing engineering”.
I like the look and the raised fins should help with dissipating a little heat away from other areas. Maybe EMD can enlighten us all ?
Even if just a few are sold, awareness created is all good for the MC industry!

Wouldn’t the world be a better place if people that have an interest in motorcycles but no time to make the full transition to non-poseur status could simply be banned from buying a motorcycle?
Sales would crater, a lot of large and small businesses in the motorcycle industry would cease to exist, but at least we would have purity of purpose and only real bikers on 2 wheels.
Who cares if lives are economically destroyed? Does it actually matter if we have a a motorcycle manufacturing industry? Real bikers can just pull a frame out of a junkyard and keep on doing their thing.
