Doc Robinson is the Associate & Technical Editor of Heavy Duty Magazine the leader Harley print publication in Australia, is a familiar face in major US rallies and one of my faithful readers. He sent me the request below. So, if anyone knows or want to jump on a bagger part business opportunity…email to me at editor@cyrilhuzeblog.com.
“Hi Cyril. Let me say again how much I enjoy your blog. I rise, brew a coffee and sit down to enjoy what is happening in the custom bike world. It must be a lot of work for you but I am sure you have many thousands of happy fans. Cyril, I am hunting around for some type of covers for Harley Tourers that allow the removal of the bags and cover up the ugly underside as does this one-off custom made one in the attached picture. It was fabricated at Klock Werks and made from aluminum, but I imagine that someone, somewhere makes something like this from fiberglass or some composite material. If no-one does, there’s a business opportunity going begging for sure! Hope you can help. Cheers”. Doc Robinson
hi doc,
check out http://www.quickexcessories.com/
they make what you’re looking for.
we ran them in a few issues of Hot Bike Baggers on a road king. they do transform the look of a bagger for around town cruising and allow the rear wheel to be seen. nice products.

Actually we manufacture the Boom cans. We don’t have them listed on our site, but we do have them in stock. Part # D5-1002C
Feel free to call us up at 530-477-7490 and we can help you out. Thanks- Eric

Doc, there is a product now available here in Melbourne Australia .
Simply lift the rider up off the bagger and insert a Victory Vision, under the rider. This practical solution will easily hide that ugly bagger rear end and will also greatly improve performance and handling.
You can get Boom Cans at the Daily Planet, also here in Melbourne. Call me and I’ll introduce to Boom Candy or her twin sister Silicone Sally. Love those cans.
