All mothers are working mothers.
God could not be everywhere, so he created mothers.
It’s not easy being a mother. If it were easy, fathers would do it.
A man’s work is from sun to sun, but a mother’s work is never done.
A little girl, asked where her home was, replied, “where mother is.”
A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.
A man loves his sweetheart the most, his wife the best, but his mother the longest.
A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie.
Cyril, thank you for the lovely sentiments. Being a mom myself, I know the struggles. We don’t do what we do for praises and thanks, but it is nice, once in a while, to know that we are appreciated. And to all of the other Mothers out there, Happy Mothers’ Day! You are loved!
Yup. 🙂
Kind and sweet of you to remember us, Cyril. Thanks!
I celebrate my amazing and wonderful daughter on this day, who makes me incredibly proud and honored to be her mother!
Sweet… being a mom has always been the best thing I have ever done. My kids are my best friends. Even though they are not little anymore, and they don’t need me as much, (sniff, sniff) I look back on those times as the best in my life. I am proud of each of them and the good people they have become.
