In 2009 the Hollister City Council canceled the popular Hollister Independence Rally over concerns on the potential cost to the city. Unfazed, bikers still came in big numbers.
For 2010, the city renewed its decision to cancel the rally, but for sure bikers will continue to ride to Hollister with Corbin’s Headquarters being the final destination and main gathering place. Mike Corbin is launching its First Annual Appreciation Day on July 3rd and will offer a lot of entertainment with self guided factory tours (see your seat pan and upholstery being done before being installed on the spot for free on your bike), showroom display of all Corbin’s seats, bags, custom parts and special vehicles, with bike contests, raffles, a Top Halter’s Poker Run, and of course live music provided by The Backyard Blues Band, girls, bbq and drinks…and the opportunity to meet with Mike and crew. Free Registration at Corbin Rally.
Way to go Mike….
come on out Howard !
I’m a little far from the area, but my already favorable impression of Corbin and Co. just went way up! Way to step up to the plate and be an example to other businesses! I look forward to putting a Corbin on my bike in the future.
Mike Corbin is Hollister.
Hey Mike,
I might have to come back to Hollister for a few days now!!!!

Onya Mike, wish I could be there. Maybe next year. Hollister 2008 was one of the best times!
Its a win/win – Hollister is a great town in a beautiful area and Mike Corbin is a gracious host and superb organizer! Adding the Corbin facility as the event center will only enhance the Hollister Rally. Wonderful news for a historic event that is just too cool to disappear!

Hey, I would like to say that what you are ding is great and you are leading a great example to those who are afraid of stepping out of the box to do something great for a struggling community. I was 20 when we had the first rally in 1997 and that was so much fun. We had people come to Hollister from all over the world. I remember the Vet’s building had set up a map of the world and anyone who wanted to could put a pin on it to show where they came from. It was a great time and don’t forget about the celebrities that graced us at Johnny’s Bar and Grill or out at Ridgemark. It was cool seeing Jay Leno, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore and Goldie hawn just being themselves. So again thank you Corbin for being a great host and not letting a tradition die completely because of people like you there is still hope for Hollister.
Mike, The wife and I had a great time Friday, the 2nd. Thanx for stepping up. The glider tried to scare us, but my reactions are too slow to humor the pilot. The visit with Sonny was great, sorry we had to leave before the band.
Keith, had a great time walking by you boulder, co late one night – mesa table area and south boulder road. see ya.
