Water Cooled Chinese Motorcycle

reutersA Chinese man rode a motorcycle carrying his three children along the top of a giant dam on Thursday to cut down on travel time. Residents of the Junyue township in Sichuan Province have been crossing the river in this way for over two months now, after floods crushed the only existing bridge in July. The recent rainstorms in the region are said to be the worst in five decades, with the state media reporting more than 50 deaths as a result. The disaster highlights the challenges of encouraging construction in places that regularly experience heavy downpours and seismic activity (editorial image, source Reuters)

    The water isn’t that deep nor the current that fast. I say do what you gotta do, beats carrying the kids across on foot.
