The 18th Annual Leesburg Bikefest, a fast growing and already a very large 3-Day motorcycle rally and music event, will be held April 25th-April 27th, 2014 in the city of Leesburg in Lake County, Florida. Touted as “Lake County’s Crown Jewel of Entertainment,” Leesburg is once again prepared to welcome over 300,000 bikers and music fans to this free event. This year, Bikefest will feature more than 80 concert performances across 13 venues. The festival will also feature unique special events and shows, including a Custom Bike Show competition, “Hot Body” Contests, an Extreme Stunt Show, “Ride Like A Pro” safety demonstrations, and Poker Runs. Over 250 vendors will offer a wide variety of food, jewelry, apparel and accessories, along with the largest selection of motorcycle merchandise in the South. Additionally, the Disc-Connected K9s “World Famous Frisbee Dogs” will perform a Frisbee and dog tricks exhibition.
For the first time in the 18-year history of Leesburg Bikefest, promoters will be looking to set a Guinness Book of World Records® title for ‘The Longest Chain of Bandanas,’ with the net proceeds from bandana sales going toward the “Folds of Honor Foundation.” The organization gives back to the spouses and children of soldiers killed or disabled in service to the United States through scholarships and other forms of assistance.
The “Longest Chain Of Bandanas” world record attempt, sponsored by the Leesburg Partnership and Budweiser, will be held on Sunday morning in Towne Square. Active service personnel, veterans, supporters, and their families can be a part of this historic undertaking by arriving at the bandana sales booth in Towne Square by 8:30am. The physical measuring and tallying of the chain of bandanas will occur at 9:30am. “Honor Bandanas” will be sold online and at the event. For $10, one bandana will serve as part of the chain, and the other will be a souvenir keepsake. The final bandana chain will be dismantled and sent to military bases across the world. This year, the Leesburg Bikefest will boast three headline acts on the Towne Square Stage, starting Friday night at 10 pm with rapper/rocker Vanilla Ice. Platinum recording entertainers “Jackyl” will keep the music going strong, starting at 10 pm Saturday night. To conclude the festivities, two-time platinum recording artist Uncle Kracker will perform on Sunday at 3:30 pm. More information is available at Leesburg Bikefest or by calling (352) 365-0053.

I second that.
Is that estimate a turnstile count or just a pick a number to impress?
Then it is all yeahs and no no nays.
Yes…you can even drink your golden soda while walking around and enjoying all the festivities. Lots of nice riding through the Ocala National Forest and the rolling country roads around the area…just watch for the venison police. Beautiful scenery an hour west along the gulf coast, too!

Rodent, if you have ever been you would know, if anything it’s an underestimate….

I’ll be there Thursday!
If I wasn’t already doing Kentucky Derby festivities, I would be there. It is a great rally in a great section of Florida. I’m going to have to fit it in for next year.
that bike is as real as they enhanced ladies….longest chain of bandannas? Christ.
And since when did Rat Fink become big daddy rat? Vanilla Ice?
Sounds like a douche convention to me.
I am lucky…I live here and don’t have to worry about buying a room…all sold out long time ago. It is said this is the largest three day motorcycle event in the world. Unlike other major events the local police are great…they let bikers bend the rules a little…just don’t pust it too far. If your looking for the wild side of the party head over to the Hideaway in Tavares…They call the Saturday afternoon event a Wet T-shirt contest…I will tell you…it is far from that! Thousands turn out so arrive early.
I’ve got some transplanted buddies down there, who say the heck with both Daytonas…
They head to Leesburg for a good time
Looks like the Rat is getting a pinch of something.
Looks like lots of fun and I am sure the weather is better than it is here in Seattle
