Double Down Exhaust Slip-Ons for Harley Touring Models

Firebrand1Customizing your exhaust system…

You bought your dream bike.  You installed the perfect custom pipes. It was yours. All yours. Just for you.  And then you saw it.  The same bike in the same color with the same pipes.  And suddenly, it wasn’t quite as special anymore.

So, after many months of design and development, for a brand new look, Firebrand launches this unique design Double Down Slip-Ons for Harley touring models

Firebrand2The Double Down Slip Ons feature 1 ¾” tail pipes covered by 2 ¼” heat shields, leading into 2 ½” muffler bodies.   Tucked neatly under your saddlebags are four mufflers featuring the proprietary Quadradical end treatment.  Combined with Twincore baffle technology, developed specifically for this product, the Double Downs promise to deliver a deep muscular sound and optimum performance.

The Double Downs work with OEM and most aftermarket head pipes, and fit all Harley touring models manufactured since 1995 (do not fit with extended bags or skirts). They retail for $849.95 and will be available in September through Western Power Sports / Hard Drive supported dealers in September.  Firebrand’s first products, the Loose Cannon Slip-Ons, are currently available for Harley-Davidson Touring, Softail, Dyna, Sportster and Street models.

I think it’s pretty good looking and unusual.

No real use other than looks. Will sell heaps of them.

Just seems to be no limit to how much more stuff one needs to add to their ride. Just more weight and stuff to maintain. If it’s a ready available counter top part you bolt on then it really isn’t unique. Just my take on things this Wednesday morning. Think I’ll go unbolt something I really don’t need!

Wow, these guys come up with a truly unique slip-on design that looks nothing like the thousands of round or oval cans that have been done over and over again with different end caps and three out of four comments are haters??? Really folks? Give em some credit

Look like they belong on a Honda Gold Wing – Valkyrie.

Why does not liking something turn a person into a “hater”? Personally, I don’t think the round pegs in square holes look from behind works, nor four outlets on a V-Twin, but is there some requirement that I do so that that I’m not a hater? Or is there some unwritten law that only approving opinions can be expressed?

Hey Woody it’s everyone’s right to express their opinion and like or dislike something. But sometimes the condescending way an opinion is expressed just gets to me. You expressed your dislike and even explained why, I have no problem with that at all.

Reminds me of the tailpipes on a ZR1 Corvette. I’m not a big fan of this company.

I like the look, but think a little to high on price. I would buy if more in line with other slip ons.
