Leather Heat Shields? Why Not.

heatshields1heatshields2heatshields3La Rosa Design is known for their cool leather solo seats and bags for most Harley-Davidson models. And now, Don La Rosa uses the same leather to manufacture heat shields. Does leather withstand the heat? Protects you like any other metal heat shields? Yes, tells me Don. And it believe him. All his shields are offered in different lengths from 6” to 12”. And if course, design and leather color match the style of his seats and bags. Try and tell me. La Rosa Design.

I have sets of the heat shields on both of my Harleys, I have put several hundred miles on them since installing. They still look like new, protect my shoe and leg from heat wich is a big issue on the 2013 Blackline. On the Forty Eight there is a lot of heat buildup at the forward pegs and the shield has made it a more comfy ride. I would recomend these as well as any of the products that LaRosa makes for Harleys. Along with the seats and bags you can get a heat shield that fits under the seat and protects your inner thighs from the engine and oil tank. Very awesome products.
