Is it a sign that more of the MoCo’s operations are to be moved to their manufacturing facility in India?

Ouch ! Having previously spent 5 years in KCMO .. personally knowing several folks employed there .. and knowing the effect this must be having on the cities already waning economy [ KCMO is about five years behind Detroit in its financial descent ] this one’s gotta hurt !

As far as the stock though … the entire market is on a Roller Coaster from ____ [ even Apple is bouncing around like a rubber ball ] so I’m not entirely convinced that has anything to do with this decision . The question being ..

What is ? Could it possibly be increased outsourcing is on the company’s horizon ?

Hmmmn … inquiring [ and concerned ] minds would like to know Mr Huze !

going overseas, you watch. They will blame unions instead of their greed. Another reason I refuse to buy another. These guys are scum.

Over 300 people laid off in two years does suck. Could it be that Dynas, Vrods, and Streets aren’t selling and this isn’t about outsourcing? As the lady sings it’s all about the bagger not cruisers right now…Oh and they’re hiring in Spirit Lake if any of those workers want to relocate.

Getting stuff from India is cheaper than doing it here. Darn shame.

Guys…HD and everybody else is getting clobbered on their US made exports since the dollar is now 25% more expensive than last year meaning HD product just got 25% more expensive in all foreign markets which is a big chunk of HD’s business. Ugly but true.
