The demand for quality suspension products is growing and aftermarket inverted front ends are now popular for Harleys. Builder Satya Kraus wants to lead the way with new kits offering improvements in performance function, safety, and aesthetics and easy to install on Harleys.
The Kraus Sport Performance bolt-on kit takes the guesswork out of inverted front suspension on Harley Davidson motorcycles. It’s engineered to keep traction to the ground, to stabilize the motorcycle in adverse road conditions, to limit brake dive, helping in maintaining control to give the rider piece of mind and comfort.
Kraus states that he has been designing, engineering and testing in real world, its inverted suspension and braking systems in very punishing conditions. It resulted in high quality complete Inverted Front End packages ready to bolt-on to all major Harley models, Dyna, FXR, Sportster and Softail models. That some serious bike jewelry….and with a purpose!!!
Me want, but can’t have.
Nice but seriously cost prohibitive. The true performance-minded riders will find a way to afford them though.
Wow this Stuff isn’t Stuff, it is Engineering at is best. His Parts look like they are for Riders that want that extra edge. This Front End looks like it is part of a very expensive Project. when you buy parts like this you don’t stop there. when you Install a from end like this on a Bike you are at the beginning of putting together another $25 K after you bought your Bike. Yeah, and you will really have a very special Bike that handles better, stops better and feels better, and of course Rides better. My Military mind says Ride what I have and buy a Hooligan Bike for $10 K….
Is be nice for Indian motorcycles?
They’d probably do well making them for the Scoutane, too.
If you spend that kind of money, on something like that for anything other than a FXR, then you have too much of it.
BTW: I have zero connection, but Exile Cycles have been offering a very respectable inverted front end (Ceriani) for ~$1300 less; equally an Italian crowd ODC (Ottodicuori) offers a great (if not brilliant) 43mm inverted fork for ~1800 euros (I have used them). Rather use one of these options on the current Dyna.
PS – ODC makes an interesting inverted fork for touring models – perhaps Cyril can feature it here (unless I have missed it).
Just did a little search and was surprised to find new inverted fork kits for HD as low as $600 on ebay. That’s with triple trees.
Of course we all know we pay for what we get. I’m sure those low priced forks are nothing compared to these in quality and ride. For those who are all about looks though, as long as the finish doesn’t peel off in short order, that’s not bad for that fat front end look. Options are good.
Could the inverted front fork look be the next big thing in custom builds? Maybe big fat forks with big fat front tires.
Why would anyone in their right mind sink that kind of money in a sportster? You already lose the money on any extras to begin with. There is absolutely no return on this type of upgrade for such an inexpensive bike. Looks good though.
I am wit sportsman on dis one, dats going to be a lot of coins to put on a sportster for little return??
that comes to 6104.94 plus shipping to canada with taxes. come on. buy a yamaha and take the front end . ridiculus
it was a surprise for me here in Italy to read the name “ODC” mentioned among the comments…anyway yes we manufacture upsidedown forks assemblies in Italy and we sell at very reasonable prices. We have forks for all HD families, from sporty to dyna, softail and Touring.
Actually we have the only inverted forks assy designed and manufactured specifically for Touring.
I put inverted forks on my dirtbike, and the difference was amazing.
I would love to go inverted on my FXR. These look awesome, but way too expensive. I have been shopping more cost friendly forks (some mentioned above).
Domino Dave
Cost is prohibitive, but you get what you pay for !
& I’m sure these are rock solid
“If you spend that kind of money… then you have too much of it.” True, but isn’t that pretty much what our industry is built on? In some circles, the same could be said about buying a bike at all, or a second one, or…
Do you have a triple tress set for my 1995/96 sportster to use a pair of Yamaha R1 43mm front forks?
Why users still usse to read news papers when in this technological world the whole thing
is presented on web?
