Warning. If you want to buy it, it’s going to set you back for a lot of money. This Bell Helmet painted by Kenny Howard aka “Von Dutch” is the one that he wore when he raced in 1970 in the Gulf Porsche at Sebring (2nd place) and Holtville (1st place). He also sed it during the filming of Le Mans. In good condition for its age. For sure an iconic piece. At Collectors Studio.

Why the yellow visor ?
It looks like Mcqueen’s had a smoke grey colored one
He used both visors.
That would be a really cool piece to own.
predicting $7500
I have the same helmet hanging on the wall of my garage. I bought it new in 1970. State of the art then but not a very good helmet. I’m going to paint some stripes on it and tell everyone it was Steve McQueen’s. Now I have the picture to back it up. Thanks.
