am i wrong or did they steal speed merchants design?
Bringer is a leader in quality and function. We use their products on all our builds.
@ Jones, yes its like SM 2012
Does anyone make a harley lower leg with a radial caliper mount? Would be nice to eliminate adapters….
A lot of choices out there for some excellent brakes. I spoke to Beringer at the motorcycle expo. in Orlando. The prices made my jaw drop.
I don’t think they stole speed merchants design it’s a adaptor bracket nothing more nothing less
Hi everyone
In response to Jones and Max, Beringer did not copy the Speed Merchant design at all.
Beringer is fully equipped to do their own R&D and design work and we respect our So Cal neighbors at Speed Merchant and would never copy any of their designs.
We believe in ethical work and that what goes around comes around and copying someone else’s design is not the proper way of doing business. Beringer has never done that and has been an innovator since 1985. As a reminder Beringer created the Aerotec 4D quadruple rotor brakes as well as the Inboard brakes.
More over our radial caliper adaptors re made for 12.5″ rotors whereas SM’s fit 11.5 and 13″ rotors. Please compare their design to Beringer’s and you will clearly see the difference.
In response to ChuckC’s question, Speed Merchant does make a radial caliper fork bottom .

Ness has a big rotor and caliper bracket too. No one is copying, its just 3 different designs of the same idea.
Beringer brakes, thanks for clearing that up. I’ve always been impressed with your products.
