Official Harley-Davidson Bike Show Is March 7th

A lot of motorcycle shops and garage builders will participate to the upcoming 66th Daytona Bike Week with only one objective in mind: to win as many trophies & plaques during the 3 main Bike Shows: Rat’s Hole, Boardwalk & Harley-Davidson Ride-In Show. This last one is the only Bike Show organized by the factory and will happen March 7th at the Ocean Center Arena, 101 N. Atlantic Avenue. Registration is from 8 am to 11 am. Judging is by technicians from Harley. A $10 entry fee is donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and each participant receives a special edition commemorative plaque designed by Willie G. Davidson. "Best of Show" winners in each of the judging classes will receive a $500 cash prize and a trophy. In addition, $500 cash prizes will be awarded to the top Sportster and top Big Twin motorcycles using Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories. There is no charge for spectators attending the Ride-In Show. For many, the big reward for participating is to shake hands with Willie G. Davidson.

Cyril. Do they accept bikes with after-market frames and engines?

Willie G. and Bill Davidson always stop by my booth in Daytona to ask me to (at least) exhibit (if not competing) my bikes during their show. They used to create a “pro builders” class for “after-market” bikes. I am not sure if it’s still true. Best would be to check with them morning of the show. But I am certain that they want the largest number of cool bikes exhibited on the parking lot during their ride-in show.

    Cyril,

Anyone who is interested in putting their bike in the Official Harley-Davidson Bike Show can go to http://www.harley-davidson.com for more information on the classes of bikes to be judged.

There is a link to the Daytona events that they are hosting!

I’ll be there showing the Cyril Huze Tribute bike to Willie G. and his son, Mr. Bill Davidson.

A great bike in tribute to a great guy!!

Good luck to all that enter the show!

    Two Wheels Forever!

    Kind Regards,

    Marc Frantz

The pic of the black bike looks like a Cyril Huze bike. Nice.
