Berlin, Germany. Actress Katie Pfleghar participates to a protest organized by PETA, a group fighting animal cruelty. In this case, chicken (“Huhner” in German). As you can see, she is in a cage. She didn’t have to wait a long time to be freed for a more chick treatment. (picture Franka Bruns/AP).

I recently rescued 4 baby racoons who’s mother had abandoned them.
My intention was to feed them until they were old enough to servive on their own and then release them.
Yes I do know I was going to have to also teach them to survive by themselves. I have had many different animals through my life and have some very close vetenarian friens for advise.
While I was at the V-Twin Expo Brevard County Florida Animal Control went to my son in laws house to consficate the babys stating it was illegal to have them.
When I first found the babies I had mad a phone call to some agencys to see what they would do with them. The ones I talked to said they would put them to sleep.
These baby racoons had not hurt any one and I felt had a right to life as much as the rest of Gods creations so I wanted to at least give them a chance to survive.
Because my wife did not want to give them to the office she was given a $300.00 ticket for interference. The interference consisted of trying to deny the baby were present.
More defensless animals are now dead For No Reason!!
