Daytona Bike Week 2008. What’s New.

Here what I already know. This year, nine full days of racing are set for Feb. 29 to March 8 at the International Speedway. In Ormond Beach, benefiting from the attraction of Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Harley (you can also say Destination Daytona),

new biker bars have opened, including a second location of Daytona Beach’s infamous Boot Hill Saloon.
Women’s Cole slaw wresting has expanded too to 2 full days scheduled onr Tuesday and Saturday. The 36th Annual Rat’s Hole Custom Bike Show has expanded to include 3 shoes. Yes, 3. The First Annual Big Daddy Rat’s Party that will include an All-Metrics Custom Bike Show on Thursday. Then, a second show called Old School Bike Show with a Rock ‘N Roll/Greaser theme on Friday {Ted Smith, you should also bring a few cool hot rods). And the main attraction show will be on Saturday, as usual.
A new campground has also opened in the Ocala National Forest that includes contests and entertainment events, and a great ride location for Bike Week events in both Ormond and Daytona Beach. The complete list of events is updated at the official Daytona Bike Week Website
