As you know, artist David Uhl paints motorcycle history. For the last 4 years he has done commemorative Daytona work. And this year, it is called "Babe" who was the 1941 winner of the Daytona 200. Here he is unloading his bike the morning of the race. David’s new painting will be exhibited during Bike Week at the Ocean Center. As a bonus "Babe" original WLDR will be on his display. Stop by to admire both the painting and this historical racing bike.

I think that was “one” year Harley won Daytona. Indian was generally the one to beat. Back in this era it was on the beach. I have a cool original 1938 poster of Indian doing Daytona, a very cool era indeed.
David does very nice work.
